...I bought this data card as I spend a lot of time away from home with the Army, but didnt wamt to get a landline fitted in my room in the barracks. This seemed like a good idea at the time and although, overall I am impressed with the item there are a few points which don't make it as good a buy as you'd imagined. Ok good points first. *Came securely packaged in a double DVD style case. *The software that came with it was easily and quickly installed and didn't take long to get the program working. *Receives good coverage of GPRS and a basic 56k dial up signal can usually be picked up Bad Points *Switchover from 3G to GPRS is NOT seamless as the product would imply. If you are in a limited 3G area the product will switch between 3G and GPRS repeatedly resulting in dropped packets, resetting your connection and slowing...

Nectar Card

Advantages: Lots of retailers to collect with
Disadvantages: Online points may not equal amount of cashback available elsewhere

...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500. Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. Working for the well known card shop

Advantages: nice staff, not complicated work

The shop may have changed slightly since then on how it's run but judging by the other reviews, it hasn't changed much! I was employed by Clinton cards for just under 3 years and during this time I did do quite a bit of training. I'll start from the beginning and cover as much as I can! Little soldiers of the data storage world

Advantages: Reliable, very very reliable
Disadvantages: Some card readers just cant keep up with how good the larger cards are (over 2 gig)

...camera and PC. Not once have I had any issues regarding corrupt data or damaged cards despite possibly over using them beyond there intended purpose. They truly are like little soldiers of the data storage world, Amazing. Now one thing to bear in mind when choosing a Sandisk or any other SD card is that in many card readers and some other devices, they tend to struggle above 2 gigabites and often will refuse to read them at all. So with that in mind this particular card is my most strongly recommended for almost all potential buyers....

Quality cards at bargain prices

I first discovered Card Factory a few years ago, after walking past it umpteen times and dismissing it as yet another card/birthday shop on the high street. One particular day I was struggling to find a good sentimental card for Mum's birthday that wasn't going to break the bank, so I thought I'd give it a try. Since that day, Card Factory has been my number one stop for all my greetings card needs. The shops are not terribly big, and usually crowded so getting around with a buggy is always difficult. Vanquis Bank and Credit Card

Advantages: Gives credit to those who wouldn't otherwise get it.
Disadvantages: Very high interest, terrible customer service.

...A couple of months ago we made the mistake of getting a credit card "for emergencies", it was meant to be...but as always happens, it was used when it wasn't necessary (mainly by my husband!!!!). Vanquis Bank are a company who offers credit to people with a bad credit history (i.e. CCJs, missed payments etc and just no credit history). Anybody who has ever tried to get credit for the first time will know its sometimes very difficult, if you have never had any kind of credit given to you, companies won't take you on, as they don't know if your a risk or not...and so Vanquis offer a "credit score boosting card"...basically they give a credit card with £300 limit on it to people who have never before had a credit card and probably don't know how to use them correctly. (Before you start...I'm not calling everyone with no credit history...

Easy Data Storage

...I was recently preparing a presentation at work for a client and their request was that we transferred it to a flash drive (or memory pen as my boss calls them!) Following a quick call to our IT department a Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive soon arrived on my desk. For those who have never seen one, flash drives are a modern alternative to the ancient technology of floppy disks. You can easily transfers file to and from it and it is reusable unlike storing stuff on CD. The Kingston DataTraveler that I have is white in colour with a green tag on it which gives the name and the memory size. It's approximately 6.5cm in length and less than a centimetre in width so the downside is that it can be easily lost, although it does come with a hole at one end where you would be able to hook it to a key ring or neck tag.
