Disadvantages: They're exams!!

...I found this from some email I received about a year ago, so I don't pretend to take any credit for it. Still, VERY interesting I think! :-) And a great excuse if u've ever failed exams... Why do we mess up exams? A year has 365 days for you to study. After taking away 52 Sundays, there are only 313 days left. There are 50 days in the summer that is way too hot to work so there are only 263 days left. We sleep 8 hours a day, in a year, that counts up to 122 days so now we're left with 141 days. If we fooled around for only 1 hour a day, 15 days are gone, so we are left with 126 days. We spend 2 hours eating each day, 30 days are used in this way in the year, and we are left with 96 days in our year. We spend 1 hour a day speaking to friends and family, that takes away 15 days more and we are left with 81 days. Exams... Read review

...Dookie has to be the best Green Day album. There is a mixture of styles throughout the album but still sticks with the original style. The songs are funny and all different. They are also very addictive. They'll be in your head for days. The drums on the tracks is amazing and worth listening to if just for them. The lyrics are all very original and make a lot of sense. They actually have a meaning, unlike pop music. There are a few songs that are quite commercial, like Basket Case, that did actually make it into the top 10. Overall, thumbs up to Green Day.... ...The science musemum is a good day out for the kids. I used to go there every summer. The learning zone is good fun where kids can send the whole day there. (There are activities which encourage team work, there are puzzles to solve and lots of experiments.) The science is up to date with recent events and inventions. Every day there are talks for the children which lasts for an hour- is a good break for the adults. If you go during the holiday seasons there are compitions and lots more. The science musemum is really suitable for a family day out but it will probably take more than a day to see every thing properly.... Read review

...I have got three of these nail varnishes now and they are brilliant. i wear nail varnish on a day to day basis and I find that after using most nail varnishes I have to re-apply after a day or so, but the boujois range is fantastic. I never need to re-apply for at least three or four days and It doesn't chip or crack until the fourth day unless i have been doing something out of the ordinary!! I would recommend this nail varnish range to anyone of my friends or even a stranger because i have long nails which tend to crack and chip even more than normal lengths and these don't for days and days. ...Set in the accident and Emergency department of a hospital casualty is addictive and enjoyable. The story line is very strong and you can feel like its part of day to day life. The stories are quite oftern sad and the characters are casualties of life. Many of the docters and nurses have been in there since the early days for example Charlie who has had his own share of tragedies which get drawn in to the day to day stories. It can be quite gorey in places but then again what accident ward do you know that doesn't have a splash of blood. Well worth following.... Read review

...The Screwfix website is easy to use and intuitive. 10/10. However, problems exist at he the point of order. I searched and searched the web for 5 DIY products; everything from a cement mixer to a shovel and Screwfix came up cheaper 90% of the time - seriously! Done deal - My selfbuild project would be using Screwfix for all tools. Sorted. First item was a cement mixer. I took a week off work and ordered the item 3 days before the delivery due date, the day before my holiday began. I waited and waited. I emailed Srewfix and received standard 'out of office' responses which were always followed (a day later) by substantive responses. All well and good, but no mixer. Allegedly Parcelforce were to blame. Tracking the item via their website was a curious experience. Each day it would leave the depot.......day after day after day... Read review

Advantages: Friendly, and sometimes cheap insurance for a standard car.
Disadvantages: Takes them time to do anything and are bad at returning money on cancelled policies.

...There is a branch of Endsleigh Insurance on the university campus where I work, and I have allways found the staff friendly and happy to help, allthough there service is not as good as thier friendliness. After taking out insurance it took them 3 months to send the certificate, then later when the insurance was cancelled they did not seem in much of a hurry to return the money owed. Three weeks after cancelling the policy the head office was unaware that it had been cancelled when they were phoned. On another occasion they were looking into specalist insurance and told me that it would be the next day before they got any quotes as they would have to phone with details of the car. This was acceptable so I returned the next day, and was told it would be another day, and the same the next day. It took them 8 days to get the quote. Ok... Read review

...Dolce & Gabbana's Masculine scent comes in a lovely silver box. Inside the box is a bottle of pale yellow-green liquid. The smell of this scent is wonderful. It is a light, citrussy smell that equally suited for day to day use or for use in an evening. I wouldn't say that this scent will help you pull, but it certainly won't do any harm. It lasts quite well too, not quite the whole day, but it is still noticeable after a few hours. As I said, this is an ideal scent to use on a day to day basis, or during the summer. It's light, citrus scent makes it ideal for hot summer days (and warm summer evenings) since it smells "cooler" than most fragrances (if you know what I mean). Definitely one of the quality scents out there and definitely worth a look.... Read review
