Triumph Daytona 675, individually superb!!

Advantages: Triumph badge, grunt, handling, image, build quality
Disadvantages: will keep you out all weekend, prepare the divorce papers!!

...the bends you will leave your mate on the CBR playing catch-up after a few miles. The Daytona doesn't quite have the top end that the Japanese bikes do but ask yourself how often you actually travel at 155+ mph. Exactly, so buy a Triumph. Brakes on the Daytona are more than adequate whether you mix it through the lanes or beat your way through the city each day. The rear brake could possibly do with a little more feedback but its never a problem. The paintwork is easily a match for most manufacturers and 3.5 years later the Daytona still looks like its just come out of the showroom. The screen takes most of the brunt for you but it may be worth investigating a slightly taller aftermarket screen if you are anything more than about 5ft 11. Daytona

Advantages: Relaxing, Clean Beach, Can go cruising on the beach

...I have mixed feelings about Daytona, but having travelled to Orlando on holiday, it was one of the places I felt I had to see. It is approximately one to one and a half hours drive from Orlando and very, very different from the commercialism of Orlando/Disney. When we were there it was the build up to the Daytona 500 and it was very busy. We visited Daytona Speedway when the cars were practising and did the "tour" where a small train takes you through the tunnel on the infield, awesome, you really dont realise the sheer scale of the place until you are in the middle of it. You are given all the information you need to know about the Speedway and if you are lucky may see some cars practising. Considering how famous Daytona is you really shouldnt miss it. The tour lasts about half an hour but I cant recall how much it was, but not...

Daytona 900 - Sports Tourer

Advantages: Triumph Brand. Good Finnish. Stable and predictable.
Disadvantages: Heavy, long reach to bars, parts expensive.

...This is my second Daytona 900, so I guess I like them. I had a VFR750 in between. The Daytona is a good long distance fast tourer. It is not a sports bike and if thats what you want I would look to one of the newer Daytonas or another bike altogether. It sweeps through bends and is very stable at speed but it doesn't have the fast steering of a sports bike or the insaine power band. The power is smooth and progresive, there is plenty but it doesn't come all in a rush like alot of sports bikes. The Daytona has a fantastic sense of presence and it is the kind of bike that makes people look to see what it is. Mine is bright red which also probably makes it more noticable. (My last one was black which was very difficult to keep clean) The seat is very comfortable and the pegs are not so high up to be cramped (I'm 5'10"). However it...

Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. Advantages: Big Shopping basket, Suitable until baby wants to walk, Great for Ramming people out of the way (joke)

Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. The only good thing about the car seat was that it was easy to fit into a car and onto the pushcchair to make it a travel system. -Pushchair- As i said above my son didnt like it in the carseat so i had to put him in the pushchair from about 2weeks old, this pushchair is ment to be suitable from birth.
