I'm going to just go ahead and state it right at the beginning - this is some excellent memory. It's fast (800mhz), it has lower timings (4-4-4-12), it's reliable, and it's very cheap. You can pick the 2GB set of two modules up from £35 anywhere now, which is a phenomenally low price. That's really the hallmark of this product - low price, high quality. At the moment, unless you're running games in Windows Vista, there's really no need to have 4GB of memory; even the most demanding game you can run won't use more than 2GB RAM. Corsair XMS2 Dominator DRAM 2 GB PC2-6400

Advantages: Can be overclocked and it has very good heat spreaders
Disadvantages: none that i can find

...When I built my new pc I check around to find the fastest the most reliable ram I could afford without burning a big hole in my bank balance, and the Corsair XMS2 Dominator is what all of my research came up with A solid performer with good overcloking caperbillates with good heat spreaders, ok so it runs at 800 MHz standard but with a bit of carefully pushing (and the correct type of cooling) will run at 1066 quite happily. The memory is very easy to install and if like me you can see the insides of your gaming rig it looks damn fine just sat there on the motherboard So you can get more bang for your money by overclocking this ram but be careful you don?t want to kill it So once again it?s a big thumbs up from me...

...I do a fair bit of travelling ,so when my toshiba equium gave up the ghost...dont buy one..!...i looked around for a mid range solid workhorse of a laptop.I was recommended the Dell Inspiron 6400 ,admittedly by an ex-dell engineer..but he had one in his rucksack..so couyldnt be all bad could it? Well actually no..it was a good value for money buy,and it is still working today....as u can see from this review (**). I got the larger battery( 9 cell) which i would recommend for any laptop computer really . The Os was vista unfortunately ,,but i got used to it in the end. I dont buy the 3 yr warranty for Dell..never needed it for any of the 4 pc/;aptops i have bought of theirs. Overall i would say good quality and fair price and good performance. oops sry forgot...because of vista memory greddiness..i bough extra 2x1gb ram...

I have found that the laptop is very quiet, its not very heavy, it looks nice and one of the most important factors, the keypad, is easy to use. not like some, where you find it harder to adapt, because the letters, are in ever so slightly different places. just a fraction out, great experience so far. With a silver body and white trim the Insiron 6400 has to be one of the more stylish laptops on the market at the moment, so for those of you who aren't just looking for a laptop that performs well, i would advise looking at this one.
