...I really love the Back To The Future films and Alan Silvestri's music is an important part of this enjoyment. I bought this soundtrack on Import (from the US, I think) and am really glad I did. It consists entirely of Silvestri's score and doesn't disappoint (unlike the soundtrack to the original film). All the music from Part II is here, I think, and I really cannot fault it. The original theme is present throughout in different guises - sometimes with more urgency and menace, other times with a more sombre reflective tone - making it impossible not to picture each scene as you listen. ...It was no easy work matching up to the standards that De La Soul's debut album '3ft High And Rising' set for all the crew's preceding efforts and for a while it seemed that it wasn't to be. This latest single is, gladly, a return to form for the former daisy-agers seeing them at their funkiest for a while. The days of saying 'No Go' having long since passed, De La now find themselves recruiting the unique vocal talents of New Jersey's weed-smoking microphone terrorist, Redman. A wise move, as Redman's instantly recognisable style gives De La's low-key mic skills, once perfectly suited to their gently upbeat productions, the contrast needed to fit into the contemporary , neck-snappin' production style. But unlike all of these players, excluding Friedel, Souness has bought De Pedro for nothing. Javier De Pedro is Spanish, he was born on August 4th 1973, so he still in his prime. He is 180cms tall and plays in midfield. Souness still needs to buy a good midfielder after he sold off Dunn and Duff. De Pedro was signed on a two year deal so we have a lot of time to see how good he really is as a player. Advantages: Well, De Niro's in it.. oh, it's pretty funny too.
Disadvantages: Not everyone's cup of tea.

...It's a film with Robert De Niro in it.. so it has to be good, right? Well, it's certainly a slight change of direction to his usual mob type films. The film's about a mob boss (De Niro, of course) who realises that he can lo longer do the things gangsters should do - shoot people, for example. So he enroles the help of a psychiatrist (Crystal) to help him sort it out. The adventure then starts. It's a funny film, although it may not have you rolling about constantly. There's also been some critisism of De Niro's crying scenes, but I personally find them funnier because his crying seems purposely hammy. ...This song is the best song ever! It is slow and romantic, and Chris de burgh is such a wonderful artist! He has a brilliant voice and this is the best song ever sung I think. It is definatly worth a listen! I had heard it on a television show and just fell in love with the song, so go and find it if you haven't heard it! ..."Lady In Red," thats the general response when the the name Chris de Burgh is mentioned. However, there is an awful lot more to Chris de Burgh than just Lady In Red. His music ranges through different styles. He writes love songs and rock tracks mainly, but the beauty of many of his songs is in the lyrics. His music brings out both happy and sad emotions to the listener. Most importantly, his songs usually carry a meaningful message, unlike many of todays songs, which are written commercially. Anyone with a serious taste in music should give Chris a chance and i would recommend his music to anyone.... Read review

...This is a self-help manual. Go into any bookshop today and the shelves are crowded with self-help manuals promising easy fixes for everything from obesity to speaking infront of a crowd. De Botton's book is a welcome change. Instead of the usual management jargon, Alain De Botton draws his inspiration from within the rich vein of western philosophy. He explores problems such as not having enough money, unpopularity, a broken heart and so on, with the help of philosophers as diverse as Epicurus and Seneca, and Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. Alain de Botton's genuine talent, exemplified here is to show how philosophy is not just dry text but is something that is intensely practicle and that can help provide a balm (or consolation) for the presures of modern life. ...Loro Parque is probably the best attraction on the Canary Island of Tenerife. Although the journey via coach from Puerto de Santiago took a tiring 3 and a bit hours to Puerto de la Cruz, it was well worth it. I would strongly recommend watching all of the shows around the park such as the sealions, whales, dolphins and the parrots. The dolphin and whale shows were amazing and I must admit that they topped those of Sea World, Orlando, Florida. Loro Parque meaning "Parrot Park" in Spanish lives up to the name as the park is based around the hundreds of different parrots they own. If you are on holiday to Tenerife, do not hesistate to visit this park. With animals ranging from penguins to tigers to gorillas, it truly is somewhere to visit as it is a brilliant place for families, couples, groups of friends or even by yourself. Do not miss...
