...my top 5 Dean Koontz books and I have read most of his books. The plot reminds me of a supernatural Se7en (Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman) with a sadistic killer offing victims in original and graphic ways. Koontz writing captured the pure menace of the killer perfectly which made the book nail biting. Be warned that this book is quite heavy going on the fear factor and is defiantly a mix of horror...
