...I have a small home so when I needed a new vacuum cleaner I chose the Dyson DC24 which is a smaller version of the standard model. It cost £189.99. I was expecting almost a child sized vacuum cleaner but there is not really much difference at all. It was so simple to put together, there are peel off stickers on the unit to explain things as you go. It only took me 5 minutes to have it assembled. The ball makes vacuuming effortless, and the head of the vacuum is narrow so its easy to get under the sofa, low tables, etc. It has strong suction as you would expect from a Dyson but it is surprising how full the cylinder is when you have finished. It really gets everything up. This does mean however that you need to empty the dust cylinder quite frequently. The power cable is short and not retractable which can look a bit untidy if it is...

Super Balls.

Advantages: Very handy, nice shiny silver effect for cakes, desserts. Contains no gunk.
Disadvantages: Little taste to them.

Dyson Ball DC25

Advantages: Very light and very manoeverable.
Disadvantages: Bit too light and moves around a lot.

...on the machine to stop it moving around. It comes with a 5 year guarantee which is not bad for household equipment, but the replacement filters are around £18 which i thought a bit expensive. The tools are easy to use and simple push in to the side of the machine. Very easy to clip on and off and of course saves storage space as they fit into the machine itsef. Removing the filters i found the top one easy, but the one in the ball very fiddly and quite hard to get out. On the whole i would recommend this product but only for small houses or flats. If you have a large home then i would suggest the larger and heavier model of this cleaner....

Dyson DC25 Animal - Having A Ball!

Advantages: Large collecting bin and great suction!
Disadvantages: Not so Lightweight, and Power Cord could be longer.

Taggie ball!

Advantages: fun, cute, baby friendly

Now that she is 10 months old and starting to throw her toys around I thought the next item she really needs is a ball and how delighted was I when I noticed that Taggies do a ball now! This ball is designed to look like a football with it's black and white hexagonal pieces of material. Out of each of the black shapes is the taggie ribbon loops. These all vary in colour and texture from plain ones, patterned ones, silky ones and cord ones. Each one is different so as to attract the baby's attention and encourage the sense of touch as they explore each ribbon. ...My mum gave me this set of Ecozone Ecoballs® after she had received them as a gift. She asked me to try them out to see what I thought about them, knowing I like trying out new products. The box contained 3 Ecoballs®, 3 refill packs, 45ml tube of Ecozone stain remover and a very handy instruction leaflet. Apparently the contents of the box allow you to do 1000 washes based on a 30 minute cycle in the washing machine. (The balls with pellets last up to 750 washes and the refills included provide an additional 250 washes) Those in hard water areas may achieve a lower amount. Big Shiny Balls Of Steel

...Balls Of Steel is a somewhat controversial TV comedy show which was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and was presented by Mark Dolan. To date there has been three series. The idea of this show is that the 'acts' perform pranks or stunts on the unsuspecting public (and occassionally celebrities) infront of hidden cameras and, at the end of the show, the studio audience choose who has the biggest 'balls of steel' (who was the bravest). I personally found this very hit and miss. Some of the sketches were hilarious whereas others were dull and even annoying. I particularly like 'Neg's Urban Sports'. This consists of the lead character, Neg, creating a different Urban Sport based loosely on an actual sport. 'Burger Bowl Off' and 'Urban Sprinting' have been the best of the lot. Not a load of balls!

...Being quite little, I like to wear my boots to make me that little bit taller even though sometimes I am walking around in complete agony with the balls of my feet because of the pressure the heels put on my feet. Any woman will tell you that wearing heels for a long period of time can play havoc with your feet in many ways, but I've only recently started having serious problems, so much so that I've had to resort to flatter shoes (shock horror!) when the pain gets too much as I just can't bear my boots when my feet are that bad.
