...I just finished my bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red perfume today so I decided I should write a review about it. Someone bought me the perfume last year either for my birthday or Christmas and it was part of a gift set. If I can remember correctly the whole set was in a large square shaped box, which was mainly red in colour with a picture of the bottle of perfume on the front of it and Hugo written in large bold white lettering. The packaging design was really plain and simple but I didn't care because I had a new fragrance to add to my continuously growing collection. Usually when I choose a perfume for myself I tend to pick ones which have nice bottles or packaging because usually if the packaging and bottle is nice then the perfume smells really nice too. ...to get to the shower before the profiterole like mass on top of my head completely collapsed again. I got to the bathroom successfully, and washed the colour off in the shower. This stage seemed to take ages, and a huge amount of dye came off. My hair felt like it was one big wiggy mass, but once I had massaged in the after-colour conditioner, it felt as smooth as silk. The end result was a vibrant red-purple dark-brown colour - Chocolate Cherry, which is just what I wanted. I will use Feria Color again, but I think I will have to put some old towels down on the floor, as it stains immediately. The ears...recovering nicely, and back to normal now thank you. It is quite a long film, but there was never a point when I became bored. It is a sad story, but not one that is overly overindulgent - Celie's powers of survival are incredible. The cinematography is beautiful, particularly towards the end of the film when scenes of Africa are interwoven with scenes of the Johnson's household and the surrounding countryside. I also liked the use of red clothing that Shug wears and the purple of the flowers that are often shown - it seems to signify hope. In case you were wondering why the film is called The Colour People, it is because of these flowers - towards the end...
