...Vicks First Defence is AMAZING! The only product to actually get rid of a cold. I have used this several times now and every time it has worked. You're supposed to use it when you first feel the signs of a cold coming on, which you don't always know but I have used it mid way through a bad cold and it has cleared up. I've found I have had one bad day and then the next day my cold has dissappeared. It works by drawing the cold out of you quickly so you feel really lousy for a day but it's worth it so the cold doesn't drag on for days or even weeks! Vicks First Defence makes no claim to cure colds, or to prevent them but it does claim to reduce the chance of developing a full blown cold by up to 50% if taken promptly at the first sign of symptoms and to cut symptoms by up to 40% but each time I have used it, it has worked better...

First Defence - it really works!?

..."First defence" is an interesting concept. A nasal spray that is meant to keep colds at bay. How could that work? There is no cure for the common cold, so logically you can't prevent it either. Other than by eating healthy and staying inside and never having contact with other human beings. But alas, I'm not a hermit, neither are you either in all probability. I'll admit, this another one of those products my wife had bought and stuffed in the cupboard and I didn't even know we had. She likes doing things like that. Tresemme Heat Defence Spray~~~~~One of the best!

...I really like this Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray, I find it works really well. I buy it in Asda and it costs £3.88 for a 300ml bottle. It's the typical black bottle with the Tresemme logo on top and the product information etc on the rest of the bottle. It has a trigger type spray that's quite large and easy to use, (make sure you remove the plastic clip around the neck bit....no Jade it aint broke, your just daft lol)!! I first used the spray whilst on holiday in my parents caravan and after having a good rummage through my mam's stuff I found this and just had to try it (as you do!!!). I paid £3.49 for 300ml, but it was a BOGOF, so I did get another TRESemme product free. On the bottle it states that it contains a heat activated complexto help protect hair when drying and strightening, and it also helps prevent hair from becoming brittle. I have tried this product on my hair when it was damp, I used a blowdryer then ceramic straighteners, and my hair still frizzed up to almost afro status. I have also tried it in conjunction with other TRESemme smoothing products as well as on its own, but the frizz continues to rule my head !
