...Valle dei templi is a must if you go and visit Sicily, it is fanstastic experience and seems you are back in the past in the Greek times. The best time to go is Spring. I would avoid the summer because it could be too hot . you pay a small fee to enter into the temple and the visit can last about 2 hours. To bad you can\"t go inside the temple of Giunone but it worth to go there anyway.
during the night the temples are illuminated and it looks like a great show. You could visit the valley but not necesserely spend the night into the city of Agrigento because the seeside and the small seavillages around are much better then the citycenter....

The hotel is incredibly easy to find by public water bus, you just get off at the San Zaccaria stop and follow the directions given on the hotel website. It's situated only a few minutes walk from St. Marks Square, but is incredibly quiet and secluded, so there is no noise or disturbances.
The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful, as you walk over the little private bridge and enter into the hotel lobby, you're struck by just how beautiful this little hotel is. Checking in is very easy and the staff are friendly and speak fluent English. You are also given a map of Venice on arrival and the receptionist will circle all the main points of interest...

...The first time I saw an airport op on Ciao I thought it was very strange. Why on earth would anyone review an airport? Some are good, others not so good but they are a necessary evil aren't they? If you want to fly somewhere then you'll be using an airport to leave and another to arrive. I suppose you could pick one airport over another if either are useful to you with your choice of destination but generally we have little choice in the matter.
However when I had cause to use Ronchi dei Legionari airport earlier this year, it dawned on me that an airport review could be very useful and that certain groups of travellers (families, people with mobility problems) might look for particular information about the facilities at an airport before they travel.

Experimental they are, particularly for Germans who were a bit behind at this point in the world of rock. This album released in 1969, despite some negatives was a groundbreaking record all the same.
5 tracks only, it consists of 4 short tracks of which the first Kanaan is in my opinion the best - it sounds like The Doors mixed up with a bit of Pink Floyd, the next 3 songs are extremely experimental and have some excellent parts to them but I find the operatic vocals a little bit on the jarring side.

I searched everywhere and eventually tracked it down at Tesco's for £3.99 per 75cl clear bottle with a black top which has 'GAROFOLI' in gold letters around the neck and it has a strength of 12% vol according to the label.
The cork seems quite weird as it looks like plastic or very young, new cane or bamboo! However, it's much easier to insert the corkscrew and the cork slides out of the neck of the bottle more easily than most. At least you don't have to...

One of the other advantages of this compilation is that it introduces some composers who are less well-known. When one says "requiem" one might think of Verdi or Mozart but here we also have offerings from Spanish composer Lobo (a motet) and the Italian Pergolesi (an extract from his Sabat Mater).
I feel that Naxos have really got it right with this compilation. The perfect balance between the known and the unknown is struck with excerpts from the more well known Requiems by Mozart and Verdi featuring more than once meaning that you never feel that far from the familiar. The ever popular "In Paradisum" from Faure's Requiem is included along with an excellent recording of Stanford's "Agnus Dei" and "Lux Aeterna".

...Yeti is Amon Duul II's 2nd album, released in 1970, it is surprisingly heavier than the previous more trippy album "Phallus Dei", this album retains the psychedelic sound of the first but several of the tracks have livelier guitar riffs in a mid to late 60s garage style which are then eased by more progressive parts in the vein of Santana. The track Archangels Thunderbid almost borders on all out rock n roll, it's pretty heavy for a bunch of hippies!
The female vocals do a good job of sounding haunted or mad but the male's dramatical voice is just an utter row (you'd have thought England had lost 5-1 Germany again the way he's carrying on). A track like "She Came Through the Chimney" sounds like an oriental alien clawing it's way in to your living room with a bag of mosquitoes and a gramophone playing a pre-war time song, it's bizarre...
