Advantages: Really good Graphics, Good value for money

...Dell XPS 700 I have had the Dell XPS 700 for about 2 years and its still in good working condition! Although i bought the newer verson 2 days ago Dell XPS 730! It is much better! <<< Looks >>> It comes in 2 colours on the front ethier Black or Red (mines Black) It is in a slanted shape and has a silver case on the front is has a Logo saying '' Dell ''! It also has XPS on the two sides! Also it has Neon lights at the very top of the front case above the CD tray! <<< Outside Specs >>> It has two CD trays on the front, A all in one memory card reader on the front, it also has a headphone and microphone socket, two USB ports and a FireWire port on the front! Dell XPS M1530 laptop

Advantages: Great feature set, fast, GFX card, HDMI out
Disadvantages: keyboard/touchpad could be better

...I recently had a motherboard failure on my existing Dell Inspiron laptop and given its age, repair looked a bad move as one could buy a new laptop for less. However, once I decided to see what was available and given my two main criteria - a higher than usual resolution screen and three year warranty, I suddenly found the price spiraling upwards. After much searching I settled on an XPS M1530. The price on the Dell web site was around £1000 but a phone call to Dell resulted in quite a dramatic price cut to reflect my 'loyalty as a customer' and that it was a replacement for a failed (nearly four year old) unit. They probably won't thank me for saying what I paid but it was a done deal and a few days later it arrived. Features An Intel Core 2 Duo CPU running at 2Ghz and 2Gb of RAM, 250Gb SATA hard drive plus a 1680x1050 screen...

Advantages: Can be customised to individual needs, good build quality, competitively priced, excellent customer support
Disadvantages: Heavy, average battery life

...I bought this laptop 4 months ago in June 2008 and I have been very impressed with it so far. The design is stylish and sleek and there are enough colour options to please most people. The best thing about Dell is that you can customise your laptop to your own optimum specifications so I opted for the best quality screen for watching video files and DVDs and upgraded the memory and processor to improve the performance of games. So far I have had no major problems although the charger adaptor has recently failed. However this is covered under the warranty and a replacement arrived within 2 days of calling the cutomer service hotline. Pros: Specifications can be customised to individual needs. Review of Dell XPS M1530

Dell XPS M1330 = BRILLIANT

Advantages: Excellent Screen, built-in webcam, very fast, never crashed (after 1 year, that's incredible)
Disadvantages: Slightly short battery life (but can easily be upgraded for very little money)

...This is a brilliant machine! I got mine with 4gb memory and a 250gb hard drive. I do all my coursework on this machine, but also use it as my games machine. EASILY runs both iTunes and The Sims 3 (a high RAM demanding game) at the same time. Excellent audio and visual quality with amazingly high volume potential speakers. Also has capacity for a 3G mobile broadband card (sim card like). Also, the design is very cool. I have the Product RED one, so mine is red color. Besides the color, Dell really took care on the design. It is just so pretty. To be honest, I don't really know about the OS and anything like that. But, as far as the speed of the laptop is concerned, it works so great! I never had any unexpected shutdown or close of a program. Since I upgraded to Windows 7, my battery life has increased, and my operating speed has sped up...

The XPS range is mainly for gamers because of the memory and speed. ...i originally bought this laptop to get away from the desk and had high hopes for the XPG gaming Range of the Dell notebook range.... it doesnt disapoint. the keyboard is nice to touch and easily cleanable due to its chassis material, the design of the notebook is highly attractive, doesnt look bulky or ugly and comes in various colours (IIRC) my one is in silver and looks superb. everything is integrated, from the DUAL (yes dual!) headphone sockets, mic port, webcam, even has a mic included into the body! the accessories that came with it are also pretty cool, screen wipes, creative Ep-630 Headphones, case, a whole bundle of various CD's and the remote control is also a sweet item, being able to control music from the control is awesome!...

Amazing Dell XPS M1710

Advantages: 17" monitor, 5 in 1 memory card reader, WIFI

...Ive had the Dell xps m1710 ever since christmas and so far there ive liked it but there are disadvantages and are are advantages of the Dell XPS m1710. When i first got my laptop i got it with no Bluetooth and there was only a 2GB ram, Now i bought a Bluetooth moudle from the dell website for around £50 and i bought a 4GB ram of the dell website too. I have on my dell like any other new computers/laptops, Windows Vista mine is Windows Vista Ultimate which i think is very fast. The Advantages are... The screen is a 17" LCD monitor which is very good for watching movies and TV shows There is 7 music buttons on the front of the laptop which is very handy when you have your computer half closed and you dont want to flip it up and goto your media player to change the song or stop, play and pause or mute or just turn it up or down...

...Having bought a Dimension 800/4100 for home last month I have been very pleased with both the machine and dealing with Dell. I was a little worried when the PC arrived in 3 large boxes, but actually it’s a very reasonable size. The 17” monitor is big in terms of depth, but is worth it for the picture quality especially if playing games or DVDs. The subwoofer for the speakers takes up some space but again is well worth it as the sound quality is as good as most stereo systems for playing audio CDs while you work. The only slight problem with the hardware was the modem cable which isn’t very long so I had to buy an extension cable but that was all. The only problem I had with the PC was the DVD player. I am not sure if it was the users' preference upon purchase, but from what I know the New Dell E510 has one as standard. I was able to order slight changes to the base specification without being penalised for having a bespoke PC system rather than a mass prepared one. The order fullfilment was easliy tracked online. I could tell at what stage the PC delivery was, Construction, Testing, Awaiting Dispatch and finally delivery. I upgraded the 3 year service with the first year onsite to 3 years onsite for the measily sum of £75, which would not even subscribe you to a PC magazine for the same period.
