Dell does it with Adamo XPS

...DELL ADAMO XPS What can one say? An engineering marvel? Absolutely impossibly thin? Yes it is, the Dell Adamo XPS is better than ?size zero? which will even make Jane Fonda blink. It?s 9.9mm thin, skinnier than VAIOs, the Macs and the HP Envys. You must get over some shock initially which might lead one to ask ?Where did the other things go, my dear?? Never mind everything is there at the right place in the look alike but even slimmer CD jewel case. DESIGN: All credit goes to Dell for designing this wonderful though very expensive machine. I really don?t regret my adverse comments in my last Dell review. I believe every product has to be weighed with proper perspectives and I am very happy to have access to such an amazing note book as Dell Adamo XPS. The price is astronomical but it is really special and deserves the price...

Review of Dell Adamo XPS

Dell XPS M1530 laptop

Advantages: Great feature set, fast, GFX card, HDMI out
Disadvantages: keyboard/touchpad could be better

...I recently had a motherboard failure on my existing Dell Inspiron laptop and given its age, repair looked a bad move as one could buy a new laptop for less. However, once I decided to see what was available and given my two main criteria - a higher than usual resolution screen and three year warranty, I suddenly found the price spiraling upwards. After much searching I settled on an XPS M1530. The price on the Dell web site was around £1000 but a phone call to Dell resulted in quite a dramatic price cut to reflect my 'loyalty as a customer' and that it was a replacement for a failed (nearly four year old) unit. They probably won't thank me for saying what I paid but it was a done deal and a few days later it arrived. Features An Intel Core 2 Duo CPU running at 2Ghz and 2Gb of RAM, 250Gb SATA hard drive plus a 1680x1050 screen...

Review of Dell XPS M1530

Amazing Dell XPS M1710

Advantages: 17" monitor, 5 in 1 memory card reader, WIFI
Disadvantages: Heavy and big

...Ive had the Dell xps m1710 ever since christmas and so far there ive liked it but there are disadvantages and are are advantages of the Dell XPS m1710. When i first got my laptop i got it with no Bluetooth and there was only a 2GB ram, Now i bought a Bluetooth moudle from the dell website for around £50 and i bought a 4GB ram of the dell website too. I have on my dell like any other new computers/laptops, Windows Vista mine is Windows Vista Ultimate which i think is very fast. The Advantages are... The screen is a 17" LCD monitor which is very good for watching movies and TV shows There is 7 music buttons on the front of the laptop which is very handy when you have your computer half closed and you dont want to flip it up and goto your media player to change the song or stop, play and pause or mute or just turn it up or down...
