A Super Espresso Machine
Review of Delonghi EN 680 Latissima Nespresso by
mikeywhitto
Advantages: Very stylish and easy to use
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive
...The Delonghi EN 680 Latissima Nespresso can create a more or less perfect cup if espresso. It is completely unique with it's patented extraction to aid the flow of water through the ground coffee. Nespresso's specially designed coffee-filled capsules are used to give the unique taste you only get with Nespresso. A bit pricey at £300 but certainly a long term investment.
Style
The Latissima Nespresso is very stylish (see picture) and is a great add to any kitchen. The silver and black frame works very well together and the buttons make the machine very high tech when it is actually very easy to use.
Ease of Use
The Latissima Nespresso is very easy to use, just as easier or maybe even easier than other espresso makers - simply insert a capsule and the machine does all the work for you. After brewing is completed...

Delonghi does it again!
Review of Delonghi Argento 1.7 Litre Jug Kettle by
Lazydaisyzzzz
Advantages: Sexy, sleek design so looks good in your kitchen
Disadvantages: Very noisy, could probably wake the neighbours if put on in the middle of the night
...I got this kettle as a wedding present along with the matching 2 slice toaster. I already had a Delonghi cappuccino maker so I felt I knew the brand and could trust this when adding it to my wedding list.
First impressions are that it looks good, it's heavy and real metal as opposed to those nasty silver plastic kettles and it's a simple but elegant design. Theres no indicator on the outside to tell you how full it is, you check inside and there is a max indicator on a piece of steel on the inside so it is easy to tell when filling it up how much water you need in, also I think that had they put the indicator on the ouside they may have spoilt the simpleness of the design and it might not have looked as good as it does.
You fill it by taking off the lid which can sometimes be a bit stiff to take off, filling it up...

Smooth Baby Yeh
Review of DeLonghi Caffe Firenze by
sheff22
Advantages: Delivers hot cappuccino quickly
Disadvantages: Milk Frothing device is fiddly to clean, and not dishwasher safe
...I have owned the Deonghi Caffe Firenze since Christmas. All in all I have no complaints about the machine as it does perform to a very high standard, delivering hot espressos and cappuccinos in a relatively short time. However I do find that the cleaning of the machine does take a while and has to be done with quite some precision otherwise the pipes used to create the frothy milk tend to get a bunged up. Also, it is recommended that the pipes be cleaned soon after using the machine. Which simply isn’t practical, you dont really want to be stood in the kitchen cleaning pipes if you have just made coffee for a visiting friend do you?
But apart from the cleaning of the patented milk frothing device, I find this a very easy to use machine and quite cheep compared to some of the other cappuccino makers on the market....

I need a coffee fix - NOW!!
Review of Delonghi ICM2B by
ladyboymondaytofriday
Advantages: makes lovely coffee quickly - cheap - makes up to 10 cups
Disadvantages: bulky
...I bought my Delonghi ICM2B for £25 from Comet rather than pay £300+ for a coffee machine with more technology than NASA. I have a serious addiction to caffeine and without it cannot function at all first thing in the morning so I needed a cheap and quick no frills coffee maker and I got it with this beast.
EASE OF USE
It is a doddle to use the coffee maker. Filter papers are inserted into the top section that swings out to make it easier - coffee is measured out and put on top of the filter and the water reserved is topped up with water - The water line is marked off with the number of cups the machine will make - The maximum being 10.
Once the above has been done you are ready to roll and the power switch is flicked on and the water starts to warm - bubbling and quiet gurgling sounds as it makes its way up from the reserve...

Delonghi magnifica for serious coffee drinkers
Review of Delonghi EAM3200S Espresso by
honeydo
Advantages: Heats up quickly. Takes coffee beans or ground coffee.
Disadvantages: A little noisy on automatic coffee grinding.
...The machine does not do filter coffee. It grinds beans or you can use ground coffee. You cannot use instant, however with the cost of this machine one would not want to use instant! It makes a wonderful cup of coffee, or if you wish two at a time. The coffee is always hot. There are adjustments for coffee grinding strength and the amount of hot water used depending on size of cup. The arm for frothing the milk is superb and the milk gets really hot and frothy. The machine is easy to keep clean. It has a light to let you know when it is time to descale the machine. The used coffee grouts drop into a container which is easy to remove and clean. A small light comes on when this container needs emptying. This machine is for serious coffee drinkers because it is quite expensive. Having had a similiar machine before I personally...

Delonghi EC330S Espresso Machine
Review of Delonghi EC330S by
nodoubtaboutit
Advantages: well priced, very easy to use
Disadvantages: steam arm is temperamental
...I bought the Delonghi EC330S after realising I was slowly emptying my bank account paying for numerous Starbucks' every week (even more after they opened one a two minute walk from my flat).
Definite plus point in its appearance, it looks stylish and fits in well in modern kitchens especially.
It does make good coffee, and although you need to warm the machine up, once you're used to doing this it really isn't a hassle.
Although the previous reviewer recommended stocking up on pods, I would advise anyone to either buy coffee beans and a grinder or buy fresh coffee ground for espresso machines, as pods don't really make the most of having a machine such as this.
A disadvantage of having this product are the steam arm is very temperamental and sometimes just doesn't emit much steam (despite being thoroughly cleaned). Also, if you want...

Get that genuine tasting Italian coffee
Review of Delongi BAR40 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker by
oldwasp
Advantages: Makes espresso/cappuccino/lattes
Disadvantages: ground coffee can be difficult to clean up
...When i wrote this review my machine was boxed as a Delonghi Bar40 with Bar40 manual, which i bought from Ebay as a graded machine. My friend told me he had the Bar40 but no pod filter and the filter and spoon was stored in the top, but apart from that it was the same. So i contacted Delonghi and they told me i had the EC200 which is almost the same machine except for the Pod filter.
Sorry about this but i did get the Bar40 box and Bar40 manual.
So to make this review for the Bar40 i have edited it with the help of my friend. Again i can only apologise to anybody who has already read this review.
I paid £39 from Ebay RRP is about £60.
What you get ,coffee machine, instruction manual, filter holder for ground coffee, 1 cup filter and 2 cup filter and measuring spoon. The spoon and 2 cup filter is stored in the top of the machine...

Coffee notso hotso
Review of Delonghi BCO 70 Nabucco by
kitty1801
Advantages: Easy to clean, Looks nice and easy to use
Disadvantages: Leaks badly and coffee comes out warm, not hot
...using it once a day for about six months, it started leaking. It leaks from the drawer where the filter paper is and we have tried wedging it shut, leaving it open etc but the water still leaks out.
We now have to leave a towel at the side of the machine and regularly move it to mop up the puddles. The leakage also means that you need to pour in 2.5 cups of water to get 2 cups out. Hmmmpphh.
I would like to stress that the problems above happened with both BOTH machines in exactly the same way so I would say that this is a design fault on the part of Delonghi and not a 'one-off'.
The coffee maker cost £49.99 and I think it is still available in the shops. I wouldn't recommend buying it. You can get good makes of drip coffee only machines for this price (which I will be buying next time) or spend a bit more and get a good make of coffee...

My car boot sale bargain
Review of DeLonghi Caffe Firenze by
tarara
Advantages: Lovely frothy coffee in your home.
Disadvantages: Fiddly to clean
...I have had my capucchino machine now for a few months. I had been looking for one for ages but was reluctant to spend so much money on an itemI was sure would soonend up at the back of the cupboard.
One Sunday morning wandering round the local car boot sale I saw a box with a sticker saying £4 on it. The box was indeed a DeLonghi Caffe Firenz box but I couldn't believe that that was what was actually inside the box. At the time they were being sold in Argos somewhere in the region of £60.
So I asked the lady that was selling it what wasin the box. She looked at me with a sort of blank expression and said flatly a coffee machine. The one on the box.
She explained it had been a gift and had never been opened let alone used. So I snapped it up and ran back to the car with it in case she changed her mind.
When I got it home and unpacked...

Brilliant, simply brilliant!!!
Review of Delonghi BCO 65BS by
ashwj
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use and clean, makes great coffee
Disadvantages: plastic, no timer
...I got this machine at christmas and I have no regrets. I paid £42 from Amazon as this was the best price at the time. It is a basic filter coffee, capuchino, expresso combi coffee maker but is very effective. It can make up to 10 filter coffes in a single go at varying strengths and this feature is also availible for expresso/capuchino, (basically just regulates speed at which the water filters through). I was surprised how effective the milk throther was considering it has a considerably lower steam pressure than more expensive models. One thing I would say though is that unless you place the machine on the edge of a surface you have to tilt the jug slightly to get it out because the nozzel is too low. Other disadvantages are that it is plastic and it has no timer for those early mornings but I don't think you can expect features like...
