The oracle's prophesy is you will love Delphi
Advantages: Magnificent views, well preserved ancient city
Disadvantages: Spread over a large slopping area which can be tiring
...As a self-endowed treat during my studies towards my degree, I went on a tour of Classical Greece accompanied by my ever patient husband. The highlight of tour proved to be Delphi. The approach to the city was breathtaking in itself as the coach wound itself down the pine tree lined roads of the holy mountain, Parnassus.
From the road, many of the ancient sites are visible. We strained our necks to catch whatever glimpses we could but we had to be patient for a closer inspection. The sites were closed for the day and we would have to wait for the morning to gain entrance.
The city of Delphi lies approximately 3k away. We settled into our Hotel, The Casti. The hotel boasts of being ?modern with all comforts sited in the quietest part of Delphi?. Well, the hotel has a distinctive look of the 1970s which in comparison to the ancient...

Hotel Amalia Delphi - Ok for a night
Advantages: Good location which is next to Delphi town
Disadvantages: Mostly for bus tours
...I stayed here for a night while I was travelling on the Kalambaka-Delphi-Olympia route. I have also stayed in Hotel Amalia Kalambaka and Hotel Amalia Olympia.
Hotel Amalia Delphi belongs to the Amalia Group of hotels in Greece and their main target is bus tour groups. Places like Kalambaka, Delphi and Olympia do not have convenient public transport serving them thus tourists most likely have to join bus tours.
Delphi is a small town which can be easily covered by foot. The historical site of Delphi is also easily accessible from Hotel Amalia Delphi.
The hotel is rated as 4-star but mostly likely because of the swimming pool. Bus tours stay here as the small towns do not have other hotels which have over 100 rooms.
Hotel Amalia Delphi is situated on a slope and overlooks the Corinthian Gulf. The nicest view from the hotel...

Something for EVERYONE at DELPHI
Advantages: A Vast range of subjects, Easy to use, Chat-rooms
Disadvantages: Nothing
...Quite a while ago, I signed up for Delphi Forums, and they where not much cop, as a matter of fact, they where pretty plain and not much going for the site, but recently after reading Keith “Flashpointz” opinion on them and also getting recommended to them by Keith, regarding information on Paid to Surf Programs, I thought I would give them another try.
WOW, were my first thoughts, how things have improved dramatically and the ammount of changes and added options are very noticeable straight-away.
What are Delphi Forums?
Well a lot of you who use the Yahoo Forums as well as other Forums, will have a firm idea what Forums are, and what use they are, but for those who don’t really know, A Forum is basically a site or a community, where you go and find first hand information about virtually any subject you desire...

GPS extraordinaire
Advantages: Very fast connection speeds
Disadvantages: None
...After purchasing a Pocket PC (HP hx4700) mainly for use as a calender assistant and portable web browsing device, I soon discovered that it could also be used as a portable Sat Nav device as well, allowing applications such as Tomtom to be uploaded onto it, and for those who are interested in light aircraft flying, like me, memory map is fantastic aviation GPS program which can be used on using actual CAA aviation maps with GPS data overlay for flight planning and tracking purposes. The one extra hardware add-on which is needed to allow tomtom and memory map to function is a GPS receiver device. I had previously purchased a Compact Flash card extension GPS receiver which plugged into the Pocket PC's existing ports directly, unfortunately, it was very poor at satellite tracking and position locking, taking several minutes to lock-on to...

Delphi Is Worth The Hassle
Advantages: Has something for everyone. Is easy to join
Disadvantages: Difficult to learn how to navigage. Slow loading. Too many ads
...I started using Delphi.com when I joined PaidMania, a downline club. At the time PaidMania used the Delphi Forum for their members to learn about the program, receive information about other pay-to programs and to get acquainted with others in the program.
At first Delphi.com seems easy to use. You can browse from a list of categories, or enter a piece of text to do a search. Either will present you with a list of forums from which to choose, and you simply click on the link in order to check out the forum.
At the forum interface, which is done with frames (which I don't like), the default view is hard to figure out and lacks functionality. Switching to the advanced view, you can see a list of discussion threads. There are links to click on in order to post, view a visitor list, invite someone to the forum, or search that are all...

It's worth trying Delphi.
Advantages: Very versatile, and extremely friendly place to go.
Disadvantages: Occasional technical problems.
...I first logged on to Delphi when I was dissatisfied with my old web community and asked people where else they went, and they suggested here. I chose a name and registered, which only takes a few minutes, and I went to look around. In the chatroom, I was astounded by the level of friendliness and the users' willingness to get to know you. If you are someone who is fed up of going to a chatroom and being ignored, then this is the place for you. I was greeted whenever I entered a room, and made to feel welcome everywhere.
Delphi is different from many web communities in the way that you can set up your own forum, private or public, as a family and friends meeting place or to find people with a particular interest and talk about it. Your forum contains your own chatroom area (which is linked to the public one, and very helpful...

GPS the no frills approach
Advantages: Cheap and easy to use
Disadvantages: Build quality an issue
...****** Introduction ******
Welcome to my second review based around GPS receivers even though this is my second review this product was actually the first GPS receiver I purchased. I won't go into too much detail into the workings of GPS as I covered this in detail in my earlier review of the internet Bluetooth GPS receiver( Why not take a look at this review go on you know you want to).GPS basically uses a series of satellites that orbit the planet to triangulate your position on the planet. A gps receiver reads the signal and with the use of navigation software (for example TomTom) and allows you to plan routes based on your current position and your destination.
******* Product Overview ********
This unit is a GPS receiver that works by slotting into a compact flash port in my case the one that I have on my IPAQ pda...

PDA and GPS, all-in-one
Advantages: Great value for the money.
Disadvantages: No wireless connection
...I just wanted to own a GPS for a long time, and recently I could get this PDA with integrated GPS at last.
First of all, I'd like to share with you why did I chose this one, among all the choices available.
What's a GPS?
GPS means Global Positioning System. A GPS receiver is a piece of hardware capable of calculate the position using the signals received from at least three satellites of the GPS network. Civil use GPS receivers can calculate our position in the globe with a precision of about 15 m.
Why do you need a GPS?
First , i'm a techie, so I love to have this kind of stuff. The second reason is for using it in the car. I'm traveling quite a lot nowadays, and having a co-pilot who knows all the addresses and how to reach them is a good point. I also wanted to use it when trekking, and use it in my motorbike. So I don...

Replace your GPS? i Dont Think So
Advantages: Good Route Planner, Cheap in Price
Disadvantages: Does not inform Instructions after wrong turn, Informs of turnings too late.
...WHAT IS IT?
This product is customizable trip planning software with an included GPS system reciever. All the now normall features for a standard GPS package are included such as Voice Prompted Directions so you can be told exsacly what to do and other features such as favorite settings etc.
This package seems to me as if it was designed to replace the need for a GPS however as i will come to later it does not seem to fill all recuirements that it should. In my opinion this package is fairly good for someone looking to travel europe and not wanting to spend mega bucks on a new gps, But for everyone else this product falls short.
DID I LIKE IT?
To answer my own question. No i did not like this product. Altho this product in many ways does pretty much what it should in many other ways it does not. Now on to my main gripe...

Excellent GPS package at great price
Advantages: Excellent sat-nav package at low price, well-spec'd handheld computer
Disadvantages: Advertising unclear: hidden costs of full European package
...When I decided too buy this product, I wasn't specifically looking for a handheld computer, I was after a decent (but inexpensive) GPS satellite navigation system; and the Acer n35 is not only the cheapest GPS-equipped handheld, it's actually cheaper than most dedicated sat-nav systems, so the fact that this device functions as a computer with numerous other facilities is a pure bonus!
You can easily pay £400 for a dedicated portable sat-nav system like the Tom Tom Go, and similar amounts for sat-nav equipped handhelds, but the Acer can be had for as little as £240 brand new with full guarantee. You see already the main economic advantage, especially when you compare it to the four-figure sums that car manufacturers charge for built-in sat-nav systems....
The Acer n35 is basically the n30 without BlueTooth capability...
