Upgraded at the delta

Advantages: Good City Location, lovely rooms, balcony, friendly staff
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...was very simple. They took our booking form and sorted out our room keycard. We got told our room had been upgraded from a standard 'Delta Room' to a 'Deluxe'. This was done by the holiday company as they made a mistake with our first hotel in New York. This was a bit of a suprise as we hadn't expected it and my husband said 'Thats nice as we're on our honeymoon'. The lady booking us in was really excited we were there on our honeymoon, congratulated us and finished explaining where our room was and the services that the hotel provided. She said that if we had any problems or queries to come down and see her and wrote her name down for us. During check in we were asked to provide a credit card for any services which we used, such as room service etc. This seemed to be standard as we had to do the same at the hotel in New York...

Paintballing at Delta

Advantages: Great fun, you'll laugh about it for years.
Disadvantages: The pain, and lack of variety in playing fields.

Finding it was relatively simple, it wasn't well signposted but the directions given post-event were clear and helpful. Because it's situated in the countryside you will also find that locals are willing and able to be of assistance if you do get lost. Not that im implying that people who live urban areas are rude. The time that had been set for arrival was 9:30am, but the event started behind schedule to allow latecomers time to arrive. Is D for Delta - or Disappointment?

Advantages: Excellent search engine, easy to use and versatile when booking flights
Disadvantages: You cannot check refund status on the website after a booking is cancelled

...only be one seat available which is located beside the toilet and doesn't recline. Giving you the opportunity to see this and then decide if you want to book is a nice touch. Delta have recently acquired Northwest Airlines but clearly they haven't managed to link up reservation systems because while Northwest flights will show on Delta's website, seating choices will not. This leads me to believe if you want to fly Northwest, you should head to the Northwest Airlines website for now. Once you have chosen your flights you need to enter passenger information for everyone travelling and give Delta your e-mail address and a contact telephone number, and then payment details. Delta? Fly by any other airline...

Advantages: Cheap flights
Disadvantages: Basic plane interiors compared to UK airlines, not good value for money

...I chose to fly with Delta over any other airline for my last holiday to California because having checked various sites they were the cheapest schedule airline to fly from Gatwick. I discovered most airlines which fly to San Francisco only fly from Heathrow which was not an option for us - I learnt my lesson having carried suitcases around London Underground and on trains before (in rush hour) and it's no laughing matter with all the commuters. The next most important thing to us was how long the overall journey was going to take, and the times varied wildly depending on how long you were prepare to stop-over somewhere for refuelling. Generally speaking, the longer you are prepared to wait on a stopover the cheaper the flights will be. Delta had a very good choice of flights, with most of them stopping over either in Cincinnati...

Card Factory

Advantages: Great products at low prices
Disadvantages: Long queues and some products a little tacky

...Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices. Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. Delta Force Paintball in Maidenhead. Incredible!

Advantages: Amazing game zones, friendly marshals, high adrenaline fun
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, didn't last long enough!

...I went to a Delta Force paintball site in Maidenhead, near Reading, for my mates 18th a couple of weeks ago. His dad had booked us in online but after finding out that those VIP tickets are cheaper (and you get more free paintballs!) he cancelled the booking through the booking office and bought a couple of books of tickets. We turned up at around 9am and had to fill out a registration form. We were then issued our equipment. This consisted of a boiler suit (they were all very clean and came in a wide variety of sizes), a helmet, a "battlepack" (for holding extra paintballs) and a hopper for the guns. After getting ready and being assigned to a team we were given a safety briefing (the marshals were very passionate about safety throughout the day and were always more than happy to help). In order to book, you have to buy the first 100 paintballs at the full price of £10 per person. But I sold the tickets to the people that came (3 of them) for £20 a piece, so that was good. The paintballs on the day cost £6 per 100, or if you buy 2500 at once, you get them for £5 per hundred. You can get paint grenades, smoke grenades and thunder flash's for £3.50 a piece. But the paint grenades are unreliable. - - - THE GOODS - - - You're equiped with a semi-automatic gat (Paintball gun) which is capable of 7 pbs (paintballs per second) if you really think you have to fire that fast. Alpha Delta Goodrem

Advantages: great voice, talented, uprising star
Disadvantages: needs to grow more in her writing, few unoriginal songs

...Delta the new teen sensation from Australia was discovered with a singing talent when she starred in the series Neighbours. The UK are lucky enough to get to watch this. Delta has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease and has taken a break from Neighbours to fight it. I hope she get well soon! The best method of describing this album is going through each song, but beware because there is a lot of ballads in this album so don’t think I’ve gone mad on the word ballad!  Born To Try Certainly a song written by a pop princess. This is Delta singing from her heart about being a person who will never forget. A truly talented songwriter and singer. She has the most amazing voice and this is definitely a song which shows this. This is one of the slowest ballads within the album. No 1 in UK and Australia...

...South saturn delta is a collection of songs by Jimi hendrix featuring alternate takes of well known songs and several songs that didnt make any of his albums before his untimely death. the album contains the origins to more wll known songs such as 'angel' and a version of all along the watchtower in which hendrix plays bass after noel redding walked out on the session. You can hear Hendrix's first real foray into the world of Jazz with 'South saturn Delta' and 'tax free'. also are more typically blues based songs including 'midnight lightning', 'look over yonder' and 'here he comes'. there is an instrumental of 'pali gap' which featured in ill fated hippy film 'rainbow bridge' along with another excellent instrumental called 'midnight'. there is also a cover of bob dylans 'drifters escape' As you would expect this album...
