Fixodent neutral denture fixative

Advantages: tasteless, holds well, cushioning
Disadvantages: gunk left behind after can be a bit unpleasant sometimes

...THis is a review for fixodent denture cream neutral. This was the sample given to me by my dentist after having an immediate temporary upper denture. I am completely new to dentures and have not used anything like this before. SO how do you use it. Wash and clean denture and dry it. I put small dabs of adhesive in the required places, palate, gum area etc. Then pop denture in mouth, press for a minute and avoid food and drink for 5 mins. This fixative has held for me for over 8 hours. It is tasteless as it is the neutral version which I prefer. I find the flavoured ones off putting as you can be eating food and then get a taste of bland mint, not nice. It also cushions the denture which is important in the early days. To remove ease out the denture, soaking mouth in warm water if required. There may be some residue...

Denture Tablets

Advantages: Leaves fresh minty taste in mouth
Disadvantages: Takes approx. 15 mins to soak in morning

...Referring to the Opinion written by J.H. Rushton some while ago now, I feel I must write my own Opinion on the use of the Steradent Tablets. I myself use these every day. They are an extremely good make and after an adequate soak in the morning, I find my Dentures feel much fresher and cleaner and there is certainly no 'nasty' taste left in the mouth except that of a Minty taste. I obviously go through the rest of the hygiene procedure necessary to clean my mouth, gums and obviously dentures first thing in the morning. But as with the Toothpaste, Mouthwash and Adhesive that I use, there is still no 'nasty' taste left in my mouth and I am consequently very happy with the Steradent Tablets, and will carry on using them. I also hope that people with new Dentures, or about to have new Dentures fitted will feel happy about buying this...

A wicked product!!!!

Advantages: Makes you feel like you have done some exercise and is easy to use
Disadvantages: Takes you a while to unlock all the games-no actually it takes you ages!

...Wii Fit takes the whole concept of games as exercise to a new level. It's a decent alternative for those bored with the repetitiveness of going to a gym or too self-conscious to join a yoga or aerobics class. It tracks your progress and gives you fitness tips along the way. The board looks sleak and slylish and can hold up to 322lbs (about) and can be used bay all ages as it is very easy to use. The downside to it is the fact that you have to unlock most of the games yourself and you can't make your own fitness regime. It is a fantastic product and you feel like you have been doing exercise. It is FAR better having a go on this than sitting watching TB with a bag od crisps :). I got my Wii fit about a month ago and absolutly love it! Miracle product

Advantages: Last for ages, covers unsightly marks.

...This pen type tube has been quite literally a miracle in a tube. It claims to hide all those unsightly marks including dark circles around the eye's as well as a multitude of other sins whilst leaving you with a radiant glow and flawless skin and it does just that. Using the penstyle tube with attached brush you click on the end button to release some cream and then apply it wherever and because of the way it has been designed it is very difficult to let too much liquid out and it goes on in exactly the right amount. I have never been a big fan of concealers in the past as all they seem to do is cake the colour is never never quite right and you can see some evidence of a blemish. ...I am writing a review about Fixodent Denture Cream, through the personal experiences of my nan and not my own, as I am not (obviously) a denture wearer myself yet! I feel I have to share this with you, as nan's experience with this product has not been a positive one. Nan has lived with us since her stroke at the end of last year and it's only recently that she's started to socialise out of the house with her friends again. She has recently started to go out to Bingo again with her friend Ruby on Thursday nights. She's been twice now, and dad drops them off at the door of the Gala and collects them again afterwards. Nan really looks forward to it and it's the highlight of her week. She got hair permed recently but was moaning that her teeth weren't "fitting" properly, like they used to. Mum thinks her gums have shrunk a bit...

DIY Beauty Products for all

Advantages: Homemade recipes are 'in', they are cheap, fresh products, know what you are using on your body.
Disadvantages: ~~~

MIRACLE PRODUCT

Advantages: intesive moisturisation
Disadvantages: quite expensive

...The product that beauty experts swear by. Brilliant for moisturising but it also contains anti-baceria agents which helps prevent blemishes. This can also be used on dry chapped lips and works a treat (although you can buy a lip balm version). They also make a hand cream version of this which works wonders as it is extreemly intensive. The face version is perfect all year round as it protects from harsh winter damage and also it has been my life saver in summer as it soothes sun burn and replaces lost moisture. Although the product is expensive it is a must and something everywomen should treat herself too... i really suggest that you wait and but this when you are next on an airoplane as you can buy a set on easy jet witch incorperates the hand, face and lip balm for about 30 euros!...
