...TY Beanies are adorable, there is no wonder my friends and I were crazy for these little soft toys! The TY beanies came in all sorts of varieties, whether animal or bear. They each had their own special name, and between us, my friends and I owned and could name pretty much every one going! One of the teddies is a horse named Derby. This is quite a sweet name for a horse, I must admit. Derby looks quite lazy, if Im honest! he is lying down on his stomach, stretched out and definitely not prepared for any racing! His fur is made of a golden brown colour, with a little white patch on the top of his forehead. He has a black mane and tail, as you'd expect, and looks very horse-like indeed! Scenery-wise, it says something when it's the promotional billboards - for the Psygnosis titles and PlayStation - that stand out. But there's something satisfying about seeing the scattering of polygon shards when a car collides, as well as with the sight of up to twenty vehicles coming together in the Destruction Derby bowl (even if there is slight slowdown). The Varsity bar, Derby

Advantages: Cheap, good food, great atmosphere, good for students
Disadvantages: Hard baguettes!

...These were my impressions of the King Sound Resort, located in Derby Western Australia. I stayed there recently (September 2008 ) - just overnight, but long enough to give Ciao readers some idea of what to expect when you visit a small coastal town in remote North Western Australia. As I was staying at the hotel as part of my coach tour, I didn't book direct. But you can expect to pay around $A180 or 75 pounds, if you booked via the internet for instance. On arrival.... Derbi senda DRD

Advantages: Drives good easy to maintain

...I have now driven the derbi senda drd for 1½ years now I must say I have never been disappointed. Derbi senda is produced in spain, they make cross versions and street version I had the street version. I bought it new, and the first thing I did was to take the indicator off so the bike could drive 55 mph instead of the In standard version which is restricted to 30mph. Of cause this is illegal, but 30 mph is a bit boring in my opinion. The first 600 miles I wore the cylinder in so I didn't drive more than 30 mph which I think is important if you want a bike which should last long. This is not only for derbi but all kinds of engines!! Anyways the first 600 mph was a bit boring but if you don't do the motor will consume more oil than necessary and the piston on espically one of these can be damaged every easily I got a some friends which...

...when I was 16 I was desperate to get on the road like most 16 year olds I sat my CBT a week after my 16th birthday and was thrilled to be "mobile", my first bike was a TS50 which I found slow and loud! so i started shopping about, I came across the Derbi GPR50R which I had to have, It had the full race sticker set and looked the biz. Stock horsepower is rated at 9HP, and I've heard rumours that the engine can make upwards of 20HP with the addition of an 80cc big bore kit, carb and performance exhaust, but I didnt go for that as it was illegal as I was meant to have a 50cc, and my bike did 70 mph anyway de-restricted. which is fast enough for a 50cc. Ergonomically, the bike was great. You'd probably have a really hard time convincing people that it was only a 50cc and that it was licensed as a scooter (until they see you leave...
