Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

Advantages: Doesn't dry out skin, nice texture
Disadvantages: Hard to get hold of

...I had been using dermalogica cleanser and toner and found that it was working well with my skin - so I anted to delve a little deeper into the product range. I wanted a product which would make my skin feel clean, smooth and fresh while keeping the moisture in and I have to say I've found it in this. Dermalogica products are natural and makes your skin feel good without feeling like its been stripped of its natural oils etc. Daily Microfoliant is gentle enough to use on a daily basis - however, I've been using it every other day and it find works fine like that. I paid £22 for the 75g size and so far this has lasted me 5 months and I still have quite a lot left so it is excellent value for money. This Microfoliant is in a powder form & you need to sprinkle some on your hand and mix with a little bit of water so it becomes a paste...

Advantages: lovely smell, verry hyrdating and lightweight
Disadvantages: have to use with other dermalogica products not so good on its own

...dermalogica active moist is recommended for skin prone to oiliness and is a lightweight lotion which provides daily moisture protection to combat surface dehydration. It contains silk amino acids, and natural botanicals of lemon, cucumber and burdock with no artificial colour or fragrance. It comes in a slim white tube - i do hate pot moisturisers they seem so unhygienic so this was great in that respect and it really lasts for ages despite the steep prices dermalogica products do work out to be quite economical over a long period. Always get your skin mapped by a dermalogica professional before purchasing to avoid all that trial and error when you start using a new regime. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant- oooh lovely!

Advantages: Made my skin look fresher & clearer from the start.
Disadvantages: A bit pricey but worth it!

...I had a Dermalogica facial last week and out of all the products used i asked which one the therapist would recommend i purchase, she suggested the daily microfoliant. The entire Dermalogica range appealed to me because it is not tested on animals and seems to be pretty natural. I have never spent much money on beauty products before (the facial was a present), but my skin felt so nice during and after the facial that i was really impressed. My skin is quite sensitive and gets very dry with small patches of ezcema at times, so i was very pleased that nothing seemed to irritate my skin during the facial, which is why i bought the Daily Microfoliant. It cost £31 at the salon, which is not bad for a salon but i know it can be quite a bit cheaper online. However i'm really pleased with it and in just 5 days my skin does look fresher...

...Wow - thats my opinion and I've tried many many products. I am a fully paid up member of the Dermalogica world and this range really does prove that expert advice and maybe paying that little bit more totally pays off. Its simple to use and slots into your daily skincare routine incredibly well. After cleansing, put around a 10 pence piece sized amount in the palm of your hand, add about 5 drops of warm water and lather up by rubbing your hands together. You now have the perfect amount to exfoliate your whole face. Gently rub over your skin in circular motions for around a minute and then rinse off. Your skin will feel squeaky clean immediately and after about a week really will be glowing. Follow by recommended Dermalogica toner and moisturiser to complete your regime. This product is quick to use and lasts for ages...

Dermalogica Anti-Bac Skin Wash

Advantages: Cleared up my skin quickly, last ages!!!

...Dermalogica anti-bac skin wash is best used on blemish prone skin. It is a foaming, antibacterial facewash which deeply cleanses the skin of excess oil and impurities with drying it. It contains Triclosan which helps remove bacteria and Salicylic Acid disolves dead skin cells- that last part makes it sound very harsh, but it is really not! It also conatins balm mint, coneflower and camphor to help smooth and purify the skin. It does not have any artificial fragrances or colour. Dermalogica say that you should work the gel into a lather and apply to your dampened face and throat. You should then rinse with warm water and repeat for 'professional results'. ...I have been using Dermalogica products for around 6 months now - I was a Clarins addict before but I found that after a while it wasn't working as well as it used to. So Dermalogica was recommended to me by a family friend. I had always seen good press coverage of it but had never really seen it in the shops.
