Destiny's Child Fulfilled Tour 2005

Advantages: I got to see them!
Disadvantages: The last Tour by the Destiny's Child Group

...Destiny's Child was a girl group formed in the 1980s, found prompt sucess when its member were just 19years old. The starlets after the self-entitled album soon began to face trouble, as two of the members brought civil actions against the management and the remaining two members, Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland, for failing to pay them adequately, and for claiming credit for materials which they themselves did not write. Unfortunately thiese allegations affected the girls but for a short while until they reformed the group and released their second albulm The Writings on the Wall. After this propmpt success and their feature on the Charlies Angels' soundtrack (Independent Women), they released the Survivor Album. Alas the girls had a break for a short period to release their individual material and reformed to produce Fulfilled...

Review of Destiny Child 2005 Tour

The Writing's on the wall - Destiny's Child

Advantages: It has smash hits on the album
Disadvantages: None

...I'm a big fan of Destiny's Child and really like this album of thier's, it's a must for all R'N'B fans. This album includes songs such as Jumpin Jumpin Say My Name Bills Bills Bills Bug-a-Boo So Good All these made it in to the charts and were smash hits. I find there music to be very danceable and to set dancefloors alight. They perform very well and dance greatly. The album has 17 tracks some not so well known but still worth a listen. On the whole this is a brilliant album. I purchased it at £12.99 from a supermarket where most cd's are cheaper than music shops. I'd recommend this album to any Destiny's Child fan or R'N'B fan, but I think any body would love this album if they heard it as it's so uplifting where it makes you wanna sing along and dance....

...Destiny?s Child album Writings on the Wall, is one of the most upbeat, and lyric albums around that would put TLC to shame. From the edgey Jumpin Jumpin to the sultry scorcher Where?s you go, this album is a sure-fire winner. I actually bought their singles before the album, but I thought, what if they only put the best songs as singles, and the album is really awful? Well, I needn?t have worried, because the entire ablum is full of future hits for the girls. The best song on the album, I think, is Jumpin, Jumpin, as the jumpy bass in the background, and the harmonic voices of the group just make this song great to dance and sing to. The worst song I think is Sweet 16, because it?s about this girl that ends up pregnant. Their voices don?t seem to be giving their all either, which makes them sound as bored as the listener...

Destiny's Child at their best.

Advantages: Very few poor tracks.
Disadvantages: Annoying intro.

...As the title of my opinion suggests, I think this is by far the best of all three (four, if you count "This is the Remix") of Destiny's Child's albums. It was released at a time when Beyonce, Kelly, Le Toya and La Tavia were on the edge of monumental success, and contains just the right balance of urban RnB and comerciality to be a real get up and dance and sing along, whilst retaining the cool factor album! Basically, it's great RnB, not as "hard" as their first album, "Destiny's Child" and not as commercially poppy as "Survivor". When you press play, don't be put off by the annoying intro in which you hear Beyonce and Co. huskily discussing "Destiny's Child's Commandments of Relationships". Yah. Just skip that part and listen to the first song, "So Good" a song penned by Destiny's Child (as are most of the songs on this album...

...I got given Destiny's Child's new album-Survivor-for my birthday last week and i haven't been able to stop listening to it. It is even better than i thought it would be and my mates are desperate to borrow it from me, but they are just gonna have to wait! I've been a fan of Destiny's Child for a long time, but i never bought any of their CD's. I am really glad that i've got thsi album because it is up to their usual standard and in many ways even better. Destiny's Child are Hip Hop/ R&B artists and they have been storming the charts with their funky rhthyms and dancey tracks. Survivor includes the hit singles Survivor, and Independant Women. Destiny's Child = Catchy!

...Destiny's Child are 4 women from Texas. Two members left about 6 months ago, but the remaining two members quickly found some great new replacements. The band have not been on the scene for very long but have already produced hit after hit. Their latest single, Jumpin' Jumpin' is great! All their singles are really catchy and take a few listens until you really start to like them. They're growers. Their album is called "The Writng's On The Wall" and has produced many great hits including "Bills Bills Bills", "Say My Name" and "Bug A Boo" as well as their latest....

...and inside booklet - The cover is simple but effective with just Destiny's child posing on the front. The designers have pretty much blacked out the background and just left the girls faces. Inside the booklet are photo's of the girls seperately and then a small poster at the back. All the words are included except for the last bonus track and have the details of the song (writers, producers, etc.) Also included are the girls thank-you's and in small print in the back (same page as the thank-you's) is a bonus feature where if you were to insert the CD in to your computer disk drive and connect to the internet then you can see exclusive videos and more! All in all this is a great album, powerful and meaning and showing how much Destiny's Child have matured and grown over the past four years. There will be songs that...

Childish Destiny...

Advantages: Loadsa tracks. Cool music.

...I asked my father what he would like for Christmas and the first thing he said was "The Destiny's Child Album- The Writing's On The Wall" Well, not only was I shocked at him knowing the title of the album, but also his sudden change in musical preferance! He's an old rocker usually listening to the likes of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. You can imagine how completely shocked I was! LOL :) Anyway, onto the review... I bought this album at Notting Hill Market for £10 which was a great start. The album was the recent special edition containing two CD's, the bonus CD including the very latest single, "Independant Woman," which features on the 'Charlies Angel's soundtrack" Now, before wrapping the CD and giving it to Dad, I (obviously) recorded me a copy to see what it was all about.
