...Hi. I'm going to share with you my experiences with Armani's ACQUA DI GIO today. This fragrance came out way back in 1996 following the successes of Armani Mania (1981) and Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984). I have no hesitation in saying that Acqua Di Gio too is a success. Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men is constantly being advertised everywhere, particularly in Debenhams and Men's magazines such as Men's Fitness and Men's Health. This was a big factor behind me buying this because Armani weren't going to spend millions advertising this fragrance if it was not good. Neither would Debenhams display posters of it everywhere either. I also bought my 50ml of Acqua Di Gio because of the positive reviews from word of mouth and from the Internet. The Little Prince & San Stefanos

Advantages: Great weather, friendly people, good food and very relaxing!
Disadvantages: not a lot going on during the evening for the younger crowd.

...Having been to Corfu now 7 times, 3 of which have been in San Stefanos, this is without question one of my most favourite places on earth! The long sweeping bay curls round and is surrounded by hills giving the resort a kind of 'secluded - tucked away' feel. Still relatively untouched by commercialsim (unlike it's neighbour Sidari) San Stefanos has a warm friendly - family atmosphere. Perfect for couples old and young or those who just want to get away and relax for a week or two. The weather in the resort seems to have it's own micro climate as the rest of the island can be covered in cloud and rain however the north west corner can miss a lot of this...though don't be fooled...when it does decide to rain it really goes for it! Di Maggios, decent Italian restaurant.

Advantages: Good food, nice atmosphere
Disadvantages: Something not quite perfect, a little too busy

...Di Maggios, as the name may suggest, are a string of Italian restaurants situated in and around the Glasgow area. I will be reviewing the city centre restaurant specifically which is situated in Royal Exchange Square but I believe that the quality and atmosphere have been similar in their other restaurants so would (slightly tentatively since I haven't been to them all!) recommend the others equally. I hadn't booked the restaurant and so was a little concerned that I would have to wait as it was a Friday night. Luckily there was room and my partner and I were seated straight away but it can get quite busy so I would recommend booking just to be sure if you really want to come here. From the start the waiter managed to achieve the right balance of being friendly but not intruding on us-my personal preference is when a waiter keeps out...

Acqua Di Gorgeous!

Advantages: An all day fragrance

...This is undoubtedly one of my favourite fragrances. Acqua Di Gio is the older brother of Armani's new daytime fragrance Mania, and as such is a much more responsible mature fragrance, but no less fun! It is light, fresh and very different from the usual musky aftershaves for men. Plus it smells expensive! It is a light citrussy fragrance with rounded musky/woody undertones which make it good for nights out, but essentially this is a day time fragrance. This is for the young (and young at heart) professional - suitable for business meetings, as well as a night out on the town. It's a fun but formal fragrance and is slightly flamboyant compared to other mens aftershaves, but no less masculine - it's an alternative to the norm - which is always welcome! ...!* ~The packaging~ Acqua die Giò is available as an Eau de Toilette, and comes in a minty-green cardboard box. On the front of the box is written in dark green 'Acqua di Giò, Giorgio Armani, Eau De Toilette Vaporisateur natural spray. The bottle design is quite simple, made of frosted glass, with the name of the fragrance once again written on the front in dark green lettering. The cap is a platic golden affair, so the overall look is simple chic. The sprayer is of gold coloured metal and delivers short bursts of fragrance. Fonana di Trevi

...If you do love the city of Rome and you wish you go back,the best place to make this wish is at the Fonana di Trevi-remember the song " Three coins in a fountain". Legends says that by throwing a coin over your left shoulder into the fountain guarantees a return to this beautiful city. Throwing three coins mean you will get love,luck and be able to return to Rome!!. I threw three down the fountain the last time I was there - really hope this comes true. The Hollywood movies "Three coins in a fountain" and "Roman holiday" were filmed here-that's why this place is so well-known. The fountain is huge with places to sit aroud it. However, it's difficult to squeeze in as it's always packed with people, a very busy place indeed....

Aghios Stefanos Corfu my 2nd home

Advantages: Warm and sunny most of the time, Safe Beach central for Boat trips.
Disadvantages: Too far away

The changes in that time have been major but what nothing can change is the warmth of the people, the quality fo the food and drink, and the general ambience. Various people have written about the beaches and the night-lifebut what few mention is the trust. You can let small children play on the beach, or go to the various Tavernas to play Pool, or go swimming in the various Hotel Pools knowing that they will be safe, and that the locals will let nothing happen to them. San Stefanos is a small club. The Harbour end of the village is annually peopled by the same returning holiday-makers and their children, and grand-children. ...Gone are the days of those horribly beige keyboards and mice with wires that just won't be tidied and with the introduction of this complete wireless Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse package that not only looks good but feels spectacluar, Logitech have come up trumps with the DiNovo Desktop package. This is an incredibly well designed product and its elegance does not outweigh its functionality. The package contains one Dinovo Keyboard, one Logitech MX900 Mouse and one very innovative seperate Media Pad (with an LCD display) all equiped with Bluetooth 1.2 for communication with the external USB Bluetooth Hub (the receiver). This hub also doubles up as a charger cradle for the mouse.
