Micro Mania with tiny Machines!
Advantages: Fun too play | Good multiplayer
Disadvantages: Gets boring easy
...This review is on the game Micro Machines, as some people know this was the best racing game in its time. It?s about very small cars driving around stupid arenas like a desk? or a snooker table, which was very entertaining. There are different drivers for different cars? and when you get further into the game you get access to more vehicles.
You can get vehicles from sports cars to tanks and helicopters? the further in the game you get the better the vehicles. This game is very entertaining when it comes to racing this with your friends. Racing on desks? in a bathtub with my speedboat. On each level there is always obstacles, which can be easy or hard to get around, on the desk you got like a sharpener in the way or pencils blocking the road.
You can play this game in 1 player, so you can get new levels and vehicles to play...

...MircoMachines review on the SNES
This game was created by a wonderful little company who I first came across on the Commodore 64 call Ocean they created many great games such as Batman and The Untouchables two very playable games and were good graphically for there time. MircoMachines first arrived on the SNES in 1994.
The game
**********
Within MircoMachines you have to race in races against either human or computer opponents and you have to win each race to qualify for the next race, In each race you will be given a new Vehicle to race with, Vehicles like, Tanks, Sports cars, cars, Trucks and many more.
This is quite simply but good fun the different vehicles make this interesting.

Micro Machines for Dummies
Advantages: Great multiplayer game
Disadvantages: Can't design your own tracks
...Micro Machines V3 is probably the best multiplayer racing game I have ever played. What makes it so good is that it's a simple idea that's easy for beginners to get into and still challenging enough for the more experienced player. If you're not normally into playing games it doesn't matter.
This game has been around for a few years now on various formats. Using the Micro Machines toys you race around snooker tables, chemistry labs, ponds and various other places which makes a refreshing change to the usual racing back drops. The originals were viewed from above in 2D. The latest version Micro Machines V3 still has the overhead-perspective but uses 3D polygonal graphics which are a vast improvement on the original.
The One player game is very similar to other racing games. In challenge mode you race against other cars and have to...

Great Machine!
Advantages: Quick Work-Out, Cheaper than Power Plates, Great Results
Disadvantages: Only tones your body, doesnt keep you fit.
...This machine is simply a must if you want to tone yourself up and not have the hassle of going to the gym for hours each week! I bought one of these off Ebay, and now so glad i did. Its simply an amazing piece of kit.
My Personal Experience
At first i thought, surely this machine cant be as good as i've been reading all over the net, people must be exagerating and just trying to sell the machine. How wrong i was....
The first time i used this, i trained at level 10 (ranges from 1-20) thinking i can take it at that level no problem, and sure enough i was ok, i did a few different positions for my legs, stomache and arms. I trained for about 10 minutes, as i wanted to see how much this would actualy do, and sales reports tell me that 10minutes of using this machine is equivelent to 1 hour at the gym.
Boy oh boy did i feel it...

Sony Dictation Machine......Interesting
Advantages: Great quality product
Disadvantages: None
...--Introduction--
This is a bit of a strange product to be reviewing, but nevertheless they are widely used pieces of equipment. I have found that dictation machines can be very handy and are generally very good at what they are designed to do. They have many different uses, most people will associate them with journalists who hound famous people for an interview. They can come in handy if you are in a meeting and you can't really keep up with what is being said. The use that my Dad had for this machine, was as a back up to his notes when he carried out inventories on rented property. He could desribe what he saw in front of him and it is far quicker than writing notes. He said that he also found it easier to describe awkward or strange things far easier through speech, than actually writing it down.
--Sound Quality...

great machine it works!
Advantages: it does asa it says
Disadvantages: might make you feel dizzy
...i can say that this is a great machine it really works and gives you good results i wouldnt say the best but you can certainly tell after a period of time that your body has toned up, i havent got one of these myself but i would like to get one when i can afford it lets say.
the vibration on this machine is not like a massage its more intense and when you stay on it for quite a while you will feel your muscles tightnen thats when you know its working. so i definatly gives this machine a thumbs up, i suggest you buy this machine if your too lazy or bored to go to the gym because you can do many exercises on this in the comfort of your own home. this is a great machine and would recommend this a good buy...

The Great Dictator
Advantages: Ingenius parody of Hitler and Mussolini
Disadvantages: Half of it is just another Tramp movie
...Charlie Chaplin is probably the most well known movie actor ever, who progressed from his ten to fifteen minute short films, such as 'The Champion' (1915), to larger works such as 'Modern Times' (1936) and this, 'The Great Dictator' (1940).
The film follows two seperate storylines. The first is of the Dictator of Tomania, Adenoid Hynkel (Chaplin), who is planning to conquer the world; while the other is about the Dictator's double, a Jewish barber (also Chaplin), who had suffered amnesia after WWI to wake up to find that he has to live in the ghetto and that Hynkel's soldiers prowl the streets. Meanwhile, Hynkel has decided to go one further than his competetive 'friend' Napaloni, Dictator of Bacteria, by invading Bacteria.
The film is obviously a parody of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis with Napaloni representing Mussolini. Of course...

The Dictator and the Doctor
Advantages: Impressive performances
Disadvantages: Mixes too much fiction with recent historical fact so that the two become blurred.
...The Last King of Scotland is based on Giles Foden's novel of the same name and is directed by Kevin Macdonald from a screenplay adaptation by Peter Morgan and Jeremy Brock. The story follows Scottish doctor Nicholas Garrigan (James McAvoy) who arrives in Uganda fresh from medical school during the early 1970s to work at a missionary clinic. His arrival coincides with the military coup led by Idi Amin (Forest Whitaker). It is almost by chance that Garrigan comes across Amin and after giving him treatment for an injury he is invited to be his personal physician. It is not long though that he finds himself in the confidence of the dictator and eventually becomes a close political advisor. Initially Garrigan is seduced into new role and the opulence it brings, but he eventually becomes aware of the ruthless nature and savagery of the Ugandan...

microRUBBISH!
Advantages: lightweight
Disadvantages: too many - look at the review..
...The microKORG is one of the best selling synthesizers worldwide and has been used by several electronic bands such as Enter Shikari and Massive Attack.
The box simply contains the tiny 2kg microKORG itself, the vocoder microphone, power supply and manual. Users may at first be surprised by exactly how small the product is if they haven't seen it in real life before. It has only 3 octaves, and the keys are reminiscent of those found on a toy keyboard. One thing is for sure; don't expect to be playing any Bach or Beethoven on this baby, as it is almost impossible to get any articulation or expression in the cheap, plastic, weightless keys.
The preset sounds that are supplied are the epitome of mediocrity. On the other hand, the modulation wheel on the left of the keys is extremely handy and easy to use. However i felt that apart from...

The God Machine
Advantages: Totally original, mind-blowing music
Disadvantages: Not much of a discography
...Two studio albums, a smattering of singles and several covers. That's all there is, pretty much, in the discography of one of the finest and most original rock bands of all time.
As usual, no doubt everyone will simply be thinking "Who?" If you've been living under a rock through he 90s and 00s, and haven't heard of the other bands I've reviewed such as Soundgarden or Linkin park, then you almost certainly haven't heard of this lot.
The God Machine were a three-piece from the USA who for various reasons ended up playing in this country supporting My Bloody Valentine (oh dear, I can hear that chorus of "Who?" again...) in their tour of 1991. They attracted the interest of a record label (Creation Records) and recorded their first album, "Scenes From the Second Storey" in 1992.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS IT?
A sort of stripped...
