...I bought this book more as a recipe book than a diet as I have no will power when it comes to diets and am pretty happy with my weight, but felt I should be eating a more healthy diet. However, I lost 6lbs in 2 weeks and did not feel hungry, as promised, even enjoying and looking forward to the meal ideas. Key points are to have the all the ingredients which you may have to buy from a health food shop, for instance buckwheat noodles, avocado oil and gluten free flour. But this is really easy with his ultimate shopping list. Overall this is a fantastic book with great recipes that anyone can make, you don't have to be a fab cook and most of them take less than 30 minutes to prepare. ...Diet Coke.... Even before I was watching what I eat and drink to loose weight I would always opt for a diet coke over regular coke (or as I usually call it "fat coke"). The taste difference between standard coke and diet coke is rather a lot because regular coke tastes so very sweet. Regular coke will often make my teeth feel coated in a layer of sheen and give me a furry tongue, so for these reasons I have always been a diet coke girl. The calorie content in a can of diet coke is a mere 1 calorie per can which is nothing compared to the couple of hundred that a standard coke can contains. The price is the same however whether you are drinking regular or diet and for a single can nowadays you are looking at paying around the 70 pence mark. ...I was always a fan of coca cola and loved to have it when at the pub or for a special treat. I have recently though moved on to loving diet coke instead. Part of this probably stems from the fact that I always seem to be on a diet these days and at least I have no worries that I am adding to my food calories with my drinks too. It's a diet Coke thing!

Advantages: It's okay to drink, quenches your thirst,
Disadvantages: tad expensive, have to drink it quickly, drink when cold, not warm

It is utterly gorgeous when it's been chilled to a low temperature. = VALUE FOR MONEY The drink itself costs around 90 pence in bottle form but in cans, it is about 60pence generally. While, this isn't very cheap compared to foods and such but Diet Coke quenches your thirst really well ironically as it is a diuretic drink and it is really nice at the same time. It doesn't particularly last for very long, once you open it, you have to drink it within 20-30 minutes or it goes very flat, becoming less tasty as time progresses. Also, you have to drink the drink COLD or it is quite nasty to drink when it's warm. ...What! Only 10 foods? Of all the MILLIONS/ BILLIONS of food products out there we can only pick 10? Well, I suppose you'd get bored by my 100th or so one..or tenth... In no particular order; let's begin 1. Fish -Smoked Haddock, Salmon, Cod, sea bass or tuna. Haddock is delcious in a pitta bread with scrambled egg or haselback potatoes. Salmon fillet is divine if you top it with mayo, crushed seasoned cornflakes with garlic and then drizzled with a cheese sauce. Smoked salmon slices mixed into mash with cheese spread! emm. And tuna, mix it with onion and some chutney to get fish fruity. Make your own fish pie or chop it up into an omelete. Fish is sooo nutritional, versatile and delcious. Not a fan of sardines, herring; trout and the lark, or with heads and eyes still on! Prawns - league of there own. Nice just out the pack...
