...As a child I loved crunch corners, often devouring more than 1 a day. Since then however, Muller have produced a large number of newer corners, in lots of delightful flavours. One of the ones I hadn't tried untill a couple of days ago was in fact the one I am going to be reviewing today. Discovering the amazing offer for 10 corners for £2 a couple of weeks ago in Asda, I was delighted and straight away took them up on the offer. Among the various fruit,crunch and dessert corners I flung into the trolley, there was the "Milk chocolate digestive corner". Being a huge fan of chocolate, digestives and yogurt, I was more than happy to sample, and so I bought 2! Individually a corner sells for 54p. Quite expensive for a single yogurt, but for what you get it isn't actually to bad! The foil lid is the only way to determine each crunch...

...When I was a young lad, the idea of chilling out with a cup of herbal tea and a digestive completely appalled me. Drinking was all about various types of pop whilst if a biscuit wasn't covered in either icing or chocolate then what, to be frank, was the point!? ...I like the odd McVitie's Chocolate Digestive, as long as it's not too odd, that is. They're probably one of the best-known biccies in the UK, which is not surprising really, as they've been around quite a while, since 1925 in fact, and according to their website, a staggering 71 million packets of these fellas are chomped every year in the UK. That's a mind-blowing 52 bics a sec! I often find that after a particularly satisfying blow-job, nothing beats a cuppa and a biccy, and what better biscuit to ensure my tea's not too wet, than a McVitie's Chocolate Digestive (hereafter referred to as MCD)...or three. That's the downside, one's never enough. So, without further ado, let's pop the plastic lid off this 250g cardboard tube (which costs around 70-odd pence, depending where you buy it). McVities Milk chocolate digestive biscuits

Advantages: A superb chocolate biscuit
Disadvantages: too many arent good for the figure!

...This week Sainsbury`s have McVities chocolate digestives on offer, a whacking 50% reduction. The biscuits have a good sell by date on them so I stocked up and bought four packets. If they had been on the shelf at full price I would have more than likely considered buying their own brand or even buying the Sainsburys Basic range chocolate digestive. Admittedly the own brand and basic range don`t have the refined almost `syrupy` taste of McVities but when the chips are downits beetr to keep a tight rein on the weekly shopping budget. Like eating cardboard (Tesco Reduced Fat Chocolate Digestive)

Disadvantages: Taste awful and are not much better for you

...Recently my other half has decided he wants to start eating a bit more healthy so long gone are the chocolate bars, crisps and sweets, the only problem is he likes to pick at food, the first thing he does when he comes home from work is look in the cupboards to see what he can eat. I suggested buying lots of fruit as this would be a healthy alternative to pick at when he gets home but that went down like a lead balloon (I think I was taking the healthy option a little too far lol). ...This biscuits are a real change from your everyday digestives, as they have yoghert on top !! Yog fruit digestives are digestive biscuits with fruit puree peices and a yoghurt flavoured topping, they are made by mcvities and they taste delicious, i have also seen this in strawbery flavour too. they are packaged in a blue and purple packet with a picture of a yog fruit digestive half eaten and a couple of scatered blackberrys and raspberys on it, and straight away you can see how easy it would catch your eye with its colourful packaging. The yog fruit digestive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The actual digestive is the same shape and size as an average digestive only it smells slightly fruity / sweet and you can plainly see it has a yoghert topping. It tastes as good as it looks and would be very appealing to someone with a sweet tooth...

Out of date digestives??

Disadvantages: Don't taste too good

...I am a great fan of the original Mcvitie's digestives - they are so simple yet so tasty. They taste great with a drink of tea also. The first time you open the pack they are really golden, crunchy and crispy. After they have been opened - the rest of the digestives in there don't taste as good as the first few fresh biscuits from the top. We have a biscuit tin at home and I asked for a biscuit. I grabbed a digestive from it and started munching on it. It tasted slightly off....the flavours of the other biscuits had mingled in to it and madeit taste somewhat.... fusty? So I thought... I was later told by my brother that our mum had purchased some 'New' Mcvitie's digestives. Apparently called Lemon and Ginger. So that is why they tasted different! Was my judgement on the biscuits biased due to thinking that they had been mixed...

Choc Digestive Smart Price biscuits...Yuk.

Disadvantages: Not very chocolaty, very hard and crunchy. Don't like. Not nice.

... Asda Smart Price Milk Choc Digestives.... Spotted these cruising down the biscuit isle at asda - as cheap as - at 27p so in the trolley they went, we already buy some of the other Smart Price Stuff including some of the biscuits so thought these would do the job. So my 27p got me 300g worth of biscuits about 20 of them I'd guess, on went the kettle and out with them. The packaging is standard no frills white and green 'Smart-Price' plastic, does the job with no excess packaging. Pack states "Produced in the Uk For Asda Stores Ltd" I won't bore you with ALL the ingrediants and labeling etc ...But: Fat is 2.9g and Sodium (Equiv. as Salt) is 0.2g per Biscuit. First impressions... On opening pack they Look OK, with a fair layer of chocolate on the top. The bottom is imprinted with "Sweetmeal Digestive Biscuits...

...So here I was last night and finally got a message from Ciao which let me get back into my account and by the time I had found the email and the new password, I only managed to rate one days works.
