...I was looking for a simple, cheap digital camera for both home and business use. I'm self employed and on occasion I need to take a client's photograph to insert in a document. After much deliberating, enter the Polaroid PDC 3030 digital camera. How Much And From Where? ++++++++++++++++++++++ I bought the camera, 64 MB smart card and a leather carrying case for £99.97 from Argos where the camera alone is £79.99. All in all this deal saved me £20. I searched the internet today and couldn't find this model at any other suppliers. ...*Found you!* I had been looking for a good digital camera for ages, and then i saw the polaroid pdc 3030. It was cheap, small and good quality, so i decided to buy it from argos. Argos was doing a great deal: The camera, a small pouch for the camera, and a 64mb memory card for just under £100. So overall it saved me quite alot. *When it arrived!* I opened the box it had came in, and looked to see that it come with 4 AAA batteries, a pad of instructions, a software cd, a wrist strap and a USB cable. I then followed the instructions, and attached the wrist strap to the camera, and installed the software on my computer (windoes 98). The USB socket was covered by some rubber, that protected it. A poor poor offering from Polaroid

...I know Digital cameras have moved on quite a bit and to say I have had a few might be an understatement but as well as telling you about the good, I also feel I should tell you about the bad. So Im going to turn the clocks back to 4 years ago to mention the cheap and not so cheerful offering from Polaroid. The PDC 4350. REASONS I PURCHASED I bought the camera (or rather my mum did) because I needed a camera that could do the following: Store images on SD cards to fit in the card reader in my laptop at the time. GOOD POLAROID PICTURES - BUT WHERE'S THE CAMERA?

Advantages: Good clear picture; very large screen; easy to use

I must admit that I had never, up to that point, been aware that Polaroid manufactured televisions, and to this day, I have still not found the slot underneath where the photo comes out! ***Setting Up*** = Before setting the television up, we had to contemplate getting it out of the car. This is a big baby; a VERY BIG baby! However, once we had managed to manoeuvre it into the house and remove all the packaging, setting it up was extremely easy. Firstly, all the obvious procedures need to be carried out such as attaching the power cord, aerial, scart leads where appropriate, satellite cables etc. to the set. Before going any further, remember to plug it in! In order to set it up completely, you need to remember to put the two AAA batteries into the remote control...

POLAROID PDC3030

Advantages: Small and compact, cheap
Disadvantages: dating doesn't always work!

...I bought this back in March/April 2004 and got good value, as I bought it for £80.00 plus I paid an extra £20.00 and got the case and memory card. It takes very good pictures compared to the compact digital camera I used to have, and considering it is only 3.2 megapixels. I have recently been experimenting with flash and different sized images and am impressed, but just want problem just lately it has been sticking at the incorrect date for some reason, I'm sure it's easy to rectify just by changing the date each time but other than that no problems. On a few occasions I have used it as a mini video camera for my daughters' school plays/harvest festivals, etc and the quality is very good for a small camera. I would recommend it as a starter camera, but the image quality can suffer a little bit when taking bigger images...

  Polaroid PDC 3035.......My First Digi Experience!

Advantages: A good first camera, good sound quality, average photo quality.
Disadvantages: Flash isn't great, not great for darker photos, colours not true.

I received this camera as a present from my then partner for my Christmas all the way back in 2003. I know that he paid around £100 for it, and this was a reasonable price back then. He bought mine from the now extinct Index catalogue store, but on doing some research I've found it difficult to see any brand new cameras for sale in UK, There are however still a few for sale on Amazon and Ebay, but bear in mind these will be second hand usually. The cheapest I've seen is on Amazon second hand for £25.Which is not bad if it is in good condition...

Advantages: Really light, fairly good image quality.
Disadvantages: Not so good for shooting indoors, and quite a big camera.

...This is the Polaroid PDC 3035 digital camera, its a basic point and shoot digital camera with a built in flash and a 3.2 mega pixel image resolution. Also has video recording with sound and 1.5 inch LCD screen on the back and has a SM memory card slot, also with a USB cable to plug it up to your PC and is powered by 4 x AA batteries. This camera has quite a fair image quality when shooting outside but shooting indoors, the image comes out sometimes very dark or completely black. The other thing that i didnt like about this camera is that it is quite a big camera but very light. Even though this camera has its bad points I have to say that I took alot of good pictures with it and had alot of fun while doing it....

...The Polaroid FLU-3232 is a fantastic purchase. I was looking for a top quality HD 32" flat screen television for around £300 and I stumbled across this. In my opinion, it is a fantastic buy. As I mainly use my televisions for gaming I wanted a good quality television to astound my friends. And this is great for doing so. It isn't the best looking television in the world for a 32" HD ready LCD TV but it certainly does the job when it comes to it. It was fairly easy to set up and get going, as all I needed was a mate of mine to help me screw the stand into the actual television. polaroid 600 how fun!?

Advantages: the photos are of a good size and quailty and are instant!
Disadvantages: you cant take very close up photos, and you do look kind of silly holding it!

...i think that polaroid cameras are really fun to use, okay, they may be huge and you may look slightly strange pulling it out of you bag to snap a pic, but its so much fun taking them that you just dont care. -hey they aren't big they are just retro!!- i recently took my polaroid camera with me on holiday with all my friends and we had such a fun time taking photos as you can use the camera almost any where!Its really great at partys aswel because you can take embarrasing pictures of people and pin them up for every one to see! I was really suprised at the good quality of the pictures produced and it is so easy to use, that almost anyone can snap a pic! The films may be slightly expensive but to take on holiday it is ideal especially abroud as you dont need to wait weeks for the developing and you get the photos instantly to share...
