Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS -nice little camera

Advantages: Nice little pocket camera with all the necessary features

...I am not an expert on digital cameras and this is just the second one I bought. So I cannot really compare the Ixus 80 with other cameras. Nevertheless, I really like it. Looks The Lxus 80 comes in Classic Silver, Caramel, Chocolate and Candy Pink in an aluminium body. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and can be tacken anywhere with no problems. As far as I can say it is very reliable and does brilliant pictures for a normal user. Features It works with 8 megapixels .The 3x zoom works for all the general snapshot moments. It comes with an Image Stabilization (IS moniker) to reduce camera shake. As far as I know this is not standard on all cameras yet, but becomes more normal in newer models. The lens is glass, so it?s definitely an advantage towards cameras with a plastic lens. You can certainly see that in the quality...

...I bought this camera from marks and spencers for £279.99. This camera is great due to all the features that it has. It has a great 12x optical zoom, which even at 9x or 10x zoom, the pictures look quite clear and well taken photos. It has a good image stabilisation feature which allows you to take photos even if the object of person is moving very fast. Its battery life is quite good compared to most ordinary cameras which allows you to take 250 photos on average. It is a 10.1 megapixel camera which has a very high number of pixels for each picture, and I can say this is definitely so when I upload my pictures onto my laptop as the pictures are VERY clear and they still look good when zoomed in by half the size of the picture....

...First things first, A name you can trust "OLYMPUS", they are used internationally by all the best photographers in both digital and standard film types. The C-420L is getting a little old now and has been superseded by many other models and brands, BUT, if you can find one either new or second hand you're in for some great snapping fun. They are very well built and really look the part unlike many of the more recent digicams, and believe it or not they are more than capable of 99% of modern featured cams. You get 20 High Quality shots or 80 normal shots per memory card, and memory cards are very easily available at any good computer or photographic shop.
