...Disney's Dinosaur Disney's cinematical genius has come to life once again, this time in the form of dinosaurs. A magical children's film that kids will love to watch time and time again. The film sees Aladar (an iguanodon) go from an endangered egg to a cute little baby brought up by lemurs on a remote island away from other dinosaurs. There he grows up and becomes friend and protector to the lemur family. Until one day a strange thing comes upon their safe island destroying everything in its path that they have ever known. Aladar takes the lemurs to safety where they join a herd of other dinosaurs travelling to a safe breeding ground with plentiful food and water, the other dinosaurs having suffered the same fate as themselves. ...It's a surprise FarSight Technologies - now FarSight Studios - are not extinct, what with early output such as David Crane's Amazing Tennis, Action 52 and Color A Dinosaur. GRAPHICS: The sixteen dinosaurs are drawn in a cartoon style as you would expect to see them in a colouring book. Though there is mixing and flashing colours, there are only eight palettes and ten colours to pick from. CONTROLS: Color A Dinosaur doesn't really qualify as a game, but it's no graphics painting program - players cycle through dinosaur parts for which to watch a lick of paint being applied slowly. ...Baby B has plenty of Taggie toys and this is one of the first ones we bought her. Mrs B and I are always on the look out for yet more presents to spoil our girl with and when we saw this dino we couldn't resist him. Taggies are quite a new 'invention' they come in all different guises from comfort blankets to squeaky toys, rattles and even baby grows now as well as pillows! They were designed due to the fact that babies are always so very interested in the tags on their toys. Every time we give Baby B a new toy she is more interested in the label than the actual toy itself and so that's why Taggies are so good- the labels are a part of the toy! Whilst there we had a couple of very good days out and I thought it would be a great idea to tell everyone a bit about them as there were no reviews on these attractions on the site. The two attractions we visited were The Big Sheep and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.
