Jewel Cases are better than the photo album style of disc sleeves. This is because Jewel Cases hold the CD/DVD from the middle of the disc meanwhile the disc sleeves hold the disc almost all parts of the disc. So use Jewel Cases okay. It prevents your disc from any scratches too. • Buy branded CD/DVD. Although the price is higher than the non branded disc, the quality of the branded CD/DVD is ten times higher than the non branded disc. • When writing the data to the disc, use the slowest speed that your CD/ DVD writer can write. ...This disc from Murray Perahia on the Sony label is quite simply one of the best solo piano discs to be released in recent years. Containing four Bach/Busoni transcriptions, excerpts from Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words and some of Liszt's transcriptions of Schubert songs, the disc shows off Perahia's astounding technique and musicality simultaneously. I've listened to this disc almost every day for the past two months and I'm STILL not bored with it! It seems to have a piece of music for every mood, from the upbeat, almost jazzy feel of the Bach to the sombre gallop of Schubert's Erl-King. The discs are light compact, and are resistant from common accidents like scratching and making the Cd greasy or dirty form fingerprints. The mini cd is encased in a plastic cover which operates like a floppy disc for a computer, whem you push the disc in the player the slide rolls back and the silver disc is revealed, then you will be able to enjoy music at your fingertips at the highest quality available, may I add that Sony are the creaters of the mini disc. ...A simply superb DVD taken directly from the digital master. This really shows what DVD can do. With a crystal clear picture at all times and a breathtaking Dolby Digital soundrtrack, its a disc to show off with when you get visitors. The 2 disc special edition gives you both full frame and widescreen versions of the film on one disc, with a packed second disc full of extras including the development of scenes and generation of sound effects. The Academy Award winning geri's game also there to be enjoyed rounds off on of the best dics on the market. A great film for Kids and Adults alike... Read review

...This is the first Discworld book and one of the best, if only because the amazing character, Twoflower (And his luggage) is in it. Twoflower is the Disc’s first ever tourist and has come to Ankh Morpork to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Disc. By sheer coincidence, failed wizard, Rincewind is assigned the task of looking after Twoflower, who is busy introducing foreign ideas (Such as In Sewer Ants Polly Sea’s) to the Disc. The chaos that results from this is absolutely hilarious and make this one of my favourite Discworld books.... Read review

...I got a new Hi-Fi recently that has a MiniDisc player integrated into it. I didn't really know all the ins and outs of a MiniDisc, but here's the basic story: A MiniDisc is a little plastic square that looks like a floppy disc. It acts like a writable CD. You can edit things that you record onto it, chop it up, move it around and delete it. It's really versatile for producing your own compilations. The one thing I hate about normal cassette tapes is they are really difficult to edit, and to make a compilation sound half decent you have to copy the tracks onto another tape. Obviously doing that you lose some of the quality. With MiniDiscs though, the quality is near-CD quality, and this quality is not lost as much when transcribing from one to another. You can also "skip" tracks too! They also come in plenty of snazzy colours! However... Read review

...I may be a bit out of my depth with this review! Sorry but I was bored! TDK CD-R Data discs are designed for computer-based data storage. You can store on them any kind of data - audio, video, multimedia, text files, etc. CD-R discs are write-once, meaning a CD-R can be fully recorded one time, but can't be erased or re-recorded. This can be highly annoying when something does go wrong. It has been known for a pile to be sat at th side of me, simply ready for the dustbin! TDK Recordable Compact Discs (CD-R), rather than the CD-RW which can be re-written. These discs promise to offer high-density storage and excellent recording. TDK Certified Reflex Ultra CD-R discs are said to be highly reliable, although you get a few errors and mis-writes. ...I have used around 400 + of these particular CD-R's now and find them one of the most economical and reliable CD-R disc available. The Company Memorex has been going for a number of years. I even remember them as a kid making good old fashioned tapes. They are a mid range buyer level more than anything else. The Discs are suitable for anyone who wants a permanent media to store data on. -R means write once allowing you to only write the information to the disc once. Although some software programs support multi session allowing you to add data to the disc. I use a lot of CD-R discs. So I needed a disc I could rely on to store my data safely, to have good read/write ability with multiple burners and players and be light on my pocket. ...ABOUT THE GAME: Othello is a rather simple game to play which is suitable for most ages (official list says ages 8 and up, but I know that I was playing this at a younger age of 8). The phrase they use is that it is a game that takes minutes to learn but a lifetime to master and I do agree with this. BASIC RULES OF THE GAME: Othello is a simple board game played on a board with 64 squares (8 X 8) with A - H across the top and 1 - 8 down the side (not that it matters that much but is useful to have these labelled as such to make the explanations a little simpler). The game is played by two people, one being the white discs and one being the black discs.
