Disadvantages: A bit slow, a lot to lose in one go
...With people starting to amass more and more data on their PCs, the old methods of backup such as tape or CD & DVD are becoming woefully inadequate. As a result, by far the most cost efficient method for either storing data or backing it up is the external hard drive.
That said, 1TB or 1 Terrabyte is a crazy amount of space and the sort of storage that would have kept a multinational company...

Advantages: High quality, good speed, encryption.
Disadvantages: U3 features limited to Windows
...I bought this flash drive back in around 2006 or 2007, I then got the 16GB one a few years later. Both flash drives still work like brand new, and I'm currently using the 4GB one as a readyboost drive. I removed the U3 program from the 4GB drive, and kept it on the 16GB one, since I only have any documents stored on the 16GB drive.I like a number of things about the U3 syst...

Got a Floppy Disk?
Advantages: Quick, Easy, Reliable, Small, Fits into any pocket or bag
Disadvantages: Faded out use lately
...I originally bought this external floppy drive a few years ago after the standard for laptops was not to have an inbuilt floppy drive already in them however at the time floppy disks were still in use from time to time. It doesn't mean that this can't be used for desktop computers that don't have internal floppy drives.
