SanDisk Clip... a great little mp3 player!

Advantages: Easy to use, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Bad quality headohones

...I brought the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2gb black about 3 months ago from Amazon for £34.99 including postage and packaging. Its is very small, just 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It has a small display screen at the top, with blue and yellow text. The lower half of the device has a dial with play, pause, fast forward, rewind and stop. The volume controls and on/off and hold buttons are on the side. It came in a box with the mp3 player, headphones, pc connecting cable and instructions. I shopped around before buying as I wanted a small mp3 player, but didn't want to spend too much money. I considered the i pod shuffle, but decided against it as I didn't like the fact it had no screen. This is what attracted me to the SanDisk, and the fact that it is so easy to use. It has 2gb memory, I have put quite a lot of music on it...

...INTRO I bought myself a SanDisk Sansa View (16GB version) because I found my previous MP3 / Video player a bit too bulky and heavy (Creative Zen Vision M 60GB) to carry around. I figured I was hardly using any of the storage anyway so thought a 16GB alternative would suffice. ...I purchased the LaCie 1TB as my first external hard drive, about 6 months ago. I wasn't sure how much space I would be needing, but as the LaCie was on offer for £75 for 1TB I couldn't really resist. The promotional literature for this Hard disk seems to keep reminding us that it was designed by Neil Poulton, someone who I'm not aware of, but must be pretty good judging by the design of this product. It is rare when talking about an external hard drive that style is a talking point, but in this case it is. It's a sleek black elegant looking case, very very shiny. ...REASONS At work I have a test PC which I need to use to load up software. When I do this I need to have plenty of free space to allow me to load new software. I found the other day that I had run out and rather than keep moving things to other PC drives I decided to make more space. I had two options. One was to reinstall the entire computer and the other to fins a disk partitioning program. The first option would take days to complete so I ended up on the Acronis website downloading Disk Director. So Acronis claim their program can add space, remove space etc from existing partitions or drives without effecting your data. PURCHASE At $49 ex VAT this is a good price for a program.
