A unique Disney hotel

Advantages: facilites are ace and individual cabins are spacious
Disadvantages: can only do on self drive

...I stayed at the Davy Crockett ranch in December 2006 with my husband. We booked the whole package together and we paid £560 for 2 adults including the return ferry, our cabin with breakfast, our Disney passes for 4 days for both parks, the Buffalo Bills and 2 days meal vouchers for planet Hollywood. The hotel: I say hotel but this particular Disney themed hotel is actually set out so that all the rooms are individual cabins. These are set in different areas that are all linked by the road running through it and each area has about 40 cabins. I would say there was about 8 or 9 different areas too from what I can remember so overall quite a lot of cabins. The reception is at the front as you enter the resort from the main road and this has a barrier system in operation so they can check as you arrive if you have a reservation. There...

Disney's Cheyenne Hotel - What An Amazing Place!!!

Advantages: So many to mention

...::::: What is the Cheyenne Hotel::::: The Disney's Hotel Cheyenne is a wild west based theme hotel. It is made to look as if it is in the wild west, with horses, cowboys etc. You've seen all the movies. It does look real, and every detail has been put in to make it look "wild west". The main reception building, where the restaurant is, and other hotel buildings surrounding it have funky wild west writing on the sides of the buildings which says things like "Saloon" "Jail" and "Billy The Kid". This is a good idea, not the names of each hotel building but gives the hotel that extra feel of the hotel area. There are around 10 different hotel blocks, each separated. The main building is where most people go at breakfast, at dinner if they choose to eat there, or when they check in, or out. This is a good place to meet as a meeting point...

...Just got back from a 2 night 3 day stay at the New York and it was great! Hotel is in a excellent location, a 2 minute walk from the Disney Village and only 5 minutes from the Disney Parks. Check in was 3pm but the hotel allowed us to check in at 10:30 am. We stayed in the Gramercey Park part of the hotel, rooms were clean and spacious, with excellent facilities, nice view of the Disney castle from our room, there is a safe in the room free of charge. Breakfast is included and is continental style but also serves bacon, sausages and scrambled egg, I think this is something to do with the hotel being American themed? Staff at the hotel are great, very helpful and polite. The hotel also has an ice rink through the winter which you have to pay for but worth it. ...Well I might upset the apple cart here but from someone who has just had their first trip to Disney Orlando I was disappointed! Our family of four, two adults and children aged 9 and 7 spent the first 5 nights of our holiday at this hotel to appreciate the Disney magic. Yes the hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff are amazingly friendly but we did not feel the magic. We felt we could have been staying anywhere. We had one Mickey Mouse soap and shampoo and a couple of stickers for the children. we had to beg housekeeping for more shampoo, soap and paper cups as they were just not replenished! The room was very nicely presented but i was not keen on the curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom area it was tacky! Bathroom is very small and you need to be short to fit in that bath! Disney resort lite

Advantages: Convenient for seeing Disney attractions, affordable, extended park hours just for Disney resort guests
Disadvantages: No ghosts, parking lot kind of far from rooms, those evil little lanyard pins

...on the room and time of year. I also learned that staying at the Music or Sports themed All-Star Resorts was a little cheaper. Not by much, but anyone wanting to save yet a few more dollars might want to consider those. As it turned out, we ended up spending so much time at the parks that if we had stayed at one of the more expensive hotels it would have been a waste of money since we weren't there to indulge. The monorail stop in the lobby of the Contemporary Resort was kewl, but its rates were something like three or five times what we paid. Disney's All-Star Movies Resort suited us very well. People who complain about how little it provides need to open up their pocketbooks for one of the mid-range or luxury hotels. ...Having gone to orlando with my wife in 2000 for the celebrations, we decided to return in 2004 with our daughter so she could experience the magic aswell. We went with virgin and the cost was about £3200 for 14 nights and free car hire but we chose not to as it has a great bus service which picks up from each village and will take you to all disney parks. This was the second time now at the carribean beach resort, to which i must say it was still as great as the first time The whole hotel has six villages Jamaica,Trinidad (south , north) Barbados,Martinique and aruba all set around a huge lake. So if you dont like walking you may want to choose another hotel. There are bridges which link to a island which does shorten the walk and is nice because the way it is set out and the wildlife to.All the rooms are spacious and decorated well...

...Me and my girlfriend (she's 23 & loves disney more than me!) went for a 2 week holiday in January 2007. Now we were on a budget so to find that there was a Disney budget hotel was a great find. We booked our holiday, including flights, transfers & hotel for around £500 each I think. We stayed in the Disney All Star Music Hotel. Now the whole Disney area in Orlando would cover the size of Greater Manchester, so you get an idea how big the whole place is. All the parks and hotels are surrounded by spacious, open land. Now our hotel was part of 3 all-star resorts the other two being All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports. All three hotels are 3 floors, decorated colourfully and uniquely with huge figures relating to the theme (i.e. we had a 40ft drum set outside our little hotel buiding). I understand that there are a number of shops in the UK, but as I have not been in to any of them anywhere else then I cannot comment on them ? however, should my comments on the Plymouth shop be any different to your own experiences of this shop in particular or the company in general then I apologise now! As already noted, this particular shop is in the centre of Plymouth ? conveniently placed opposite the House of Fraser, occupying a corner plot.
