...The Disney Store is a shop that sells Disney merchandise. There are Disney Stores across the UK and indeed across the world. There are Disney Stores in Disney World and Disney Land. If you have never been in a Disney Store you will be amazed at the different types of products that are usually always in stock. Although I must say I think you either love or hate the Disney Store. My husband doesn't understand the appeal of purchasing a Disney character bear for £20 when you can buy another bear somewhere else for half the price. I think if you have been brought up to watch Disney cartoons then you have an automatic liking of Disney. The Disney Store

...I have loved going into the Disney Stores since I was young and, as I am now mid-30's (not revealing my exact age here!), just proves that the magic of the Disney store is for the whole family. There is not a Disney store where I am, they are mainly around the larger cities - near me (I live in Scotland), I think the closest shops are in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Pre-children, I always loved going to the Disney store whenever I visited Glasgow or Edinburgh and I would buy things to put aside for friends' children for Christmas and birthday presents. Now that I have a family it's nice to take them to the stores too whenever we are away. A Disney Paradise

...The Disney Store is a wonderful shop for young and old alike, if you are a fan of Disney, but you need a lot of money, as it is very expensive. The shop sells the Disney videos, books, soft toys, clothing, dressing up costumes, stickers and so on. If you love films like Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Bambi and The Lion King (or your kids do), this is the place to find the perfect gift. My seven year old daughter loves dalmatians and at one point, I was convinced she would end up with 101 of the cuddly toys, but thankfully she didn't quite manage that many ! But I know I can go into the Disney Store and find a purse, pair of pyjamas or the latest Dalmatian beanie and she will be thrilled with it. ...Last week I was lucky enough to win £150 worth of Disney Store vouchers, which I went to spend yesterday, and I decided to let you all in on the wonderful place to shop that is the Disney Store. If I see a Disney Store while we're on a day out I'll always pop in so know that the stores are mainly laid out in the same way, if I describe the Birmingham store it'll give you a good idea what any Disney Store in the country is like. Because it's the run up to Christmas the store has a decidedly festive feel to it. Disney certainly haven't scrimped on the decorations, there's tinsel everywhere and the whole place just looks sparkly. Even sparklier than usual because the Disney Store is always a riot of colour and is so glittery you can feel youiself checking your hands for signs of sparkle as you leave the shop! Heaven on Earth for Disney Lovers!

Advantages: Lots of different Disney items, excellent quality, lovely stores, wonderful staff

...I am not going to go in to huge detail about the history of the The Walt Disney Company as most people already know it! I am however going to write about The Disney Store. In the UK there are 56 Disney Stores which are usually based in major cities around the country. They sell lots of different Disney branded things such as their Baby Disney Range, Children's Clothing, Adult Clothing & Accessories, Toys & Action Figures, Soft Toys, DVDs, Books, Homewares, Stationery, Gifts, Collectibles and Children's Costumes just to name a view! I absolutely love anything Disney. I grew up surrounded by Disney movies and merchandise and now at 20 years old, I still love Disney stuff! ...I went shopping in Manchester and I have always wanted to visit the Disney store, but there isn’t one near me and I never seemed to have the time when I go to Manchester. Well, anyway I found the time and I loved the shop. It’s quite a big store and it had loads of Disney memorabilia. The items they stock are so varied, they had little children’s clothes with Disney cartoons on, fleeces, and scarves and hats. They had some really good mugs with the bright Disney cartoons, which would make excellent present for birthdays, or just for a gift. They had Disney style ties, they’d certainly cheer you up, so if you are thinking of buying you’re Dad, uncle or teacher a gift, a nice bright tie with Donald Duck on might do the trick. ...There a strange phenomenon that occurs every time I go to the shopping center. As we walk past all the other stores my children seem to be magnetically attracted to The Disney Store? Not sure why? The Products --- --------- There is sooooo much you can buy in this store. Videos and DVDs – you can buy every Disney movie on video or DVD. Cuddly toys – you can probably find every character that Disney has created in their huge pile of cuddly toys. ...I use the Disney Store at Bluewater in Kent and have done since it opened in March 1998. I only usually purchase videos from there as I find a lot of the other products a bit pricey for my small budget though I am told that they are good value. This said I must admit thet when they reduce something it is usually quite a substantial reduction. If you want to buy a Disney video this is the place to go, they not only stock all of the videos that have been released by Disney (if they don't have the one you are looking for they will always order it for you)they also take orders for films that will be released in the near future. By pre ordering a video that will be released shortly you can benefit from a whole host of special and free offers like limited edition posters and other merchandise that will be for sale at a higher price once...

...LOCATION Disney Store has an ideal location on one of the busiest streets in the centre of York. The name of the street is Parliament Street. The Disney Store is almost opposite the fountains! OPENING HOURS I couldn?t actually find a sign stating the opening times of the store but all shops around it open at 9am and close at 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 11am ? 5pm on Sunday so I can only guess that Disney Store would do the same. STORE LAYOUT The Disney Store is an ideal shop for adults/kids and babies alike. However this is not reflected in the layout of the shop. I was visiting with my daughter in a pushchair and found it very difficult to get round the store without hitting shelves and other customers (sorry if that was you).
