A frequent visitor's guide to DisneyWorld

Walt Disney World: miles of fun for everyone!

Advantages: Great theme parks, hotels and weather
Disadvantages: 9 hour flight and almost too much to do!!

...Walt Disney World in Florida is the largest of any of the Disney Parks in the world and covers over 46 square miles!! It consists of: 4 major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney MGM Studios and and the new Animal Kingdom) 3 water parks Over 15 hotels and 1 camp site Dining, leisure and shopping activities. It's such a big place that it would be impossible for me to tell you everything about it, but I'll give a brief background and choose some of my favourite things! A visit to Disney and Sea world

Advantages: Fantastic,Brings out the child in us all

A unique Disney hotel

Advantages: facilites are ace and individual cabins are spacious
Disadvantages: can only do on self drive

...approximately 3 hours from Calais to Disney and there are tolls on the way so bear this in mind and have some change to pay for them! Overall opinion: We both loved this resort for a variety of reasons. The cabins were really nice for a start especially as it felt like you had a lot more privacy than being in a conventional hotel and the fact that it was actually set away from the other hotels meant that as 2 adults travelling to Disneyland it felt a bit more relaxed away from lots and lots of children! At the same time however we still got the bonus of staying in a Disney hotel such as the free parking at the parks and the extra magic hours so it was the best of both worlds. This place would be amazing in the summer especially with those barbeque's although even staying here in the winter was great with the log cabins and the decorations...

Disneys All Star Music Resort, Disney World.

Advantages: Property on site. Park your car and let Disney do the driving.

Disney's Cheyenne Hotel - What An Amazing Place!!!

...::::: What is the Cheyenne Hotel::::: The Disney's Hotel Cheyenne is a wild west based theme hotel. It is made to look as if it is in the wild west, with horses, cowboys etc. You've seen all the movies. It does look real, and every detail has been put in to make it look "wild west". The main reception building, where the restaurant is, and other hotel buildings surrounding it have funky wild west writing on the sides of the buildings which says things like "Saloon" "Jail" and "Billy The Kid". This is a good idea, not the names of each hotel building but gives the hotel that extra feel of the hotel area. There are around 10 different hotel blocks, each separated. An intro to Disney World and the Magic Kingdom

Advantages: Every bit as magical as the brochures promise!
Disadvantages: Very expensive, a lot of walking is necessary and you have to plan well to fit everything in!

...It's every kid's fantasy to take a trip to Disney World and every parent's fantasy to be able to take them there. I will say from the start that Disney definately isn't for everyone - cynics of the Disney culture and it's almost sickly sweet way of making your hand dig deeper in your pocket will not be converted. In fact, if you do not go with the attitude of taking Disney at face value or the pleasure you will get from seeing your children's faces light up then it is not worth going at all. However If, like me, you are a big kid at heart and have enjoyed all things Disney you have encountered before then be prepared to be amazed.
