...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. Cheap flat screen LCD TV better than dearer ones

Advantages: cheap, small, good enough picture and sound quality for us
Disadvantages: haven't really found any

...prefer to keep my distance from anything to do with setting up electrical goods but my partner tells me that this Bush was pretty fiddly to set up. Even worse after a few days of a fairly indifferent picture and sound quality it gave up the ghost and packed up completely. So we took it back to Tescos, decided we didn't want another one, saw the Digilogic again with its excellent picture and decided to give it a try and get a refund for the difference in cost too. We are now absolutely delighted with it and have had no problems at all with it. It has auto install and was really easy to set up. It is a silver 15 inch LCD flat screen television with Nicam stereo sound. When I saw it along side the others I thought it looks very slightly less modern and streamline but with it happily installed in the kitchen I never give this a thought...

NEC Monitor MultiSync LCD1560NX

...The company is an old and huge company, and their monitors give a very satisfactory performance generally, but since they have launched NEC Multisync 1560NX, it totally changes your opinion about this company ! this monitor gives an EXCELLENT color quality, you will be amazed by the details that it will brought up, not just that its design is also great however small size of this monitor is the only downside and its not cheap either according to its size but when you will go a bit further into specs you'll know that your getting the right monitor for the right credit, their are very low chances of it getting into bad shape if you'll treat it right however one cannot ignore the chances, and if you will require it to fix the monitor then your going to face problems number one its LCD, number two its NEC...

...I knew from the outset that i would be one of those paranoid mum's constantly worrying about my baby & wondering if he was still breathing through the night, so I invested in the Angelcare monitor with movement sensor mat. The set includes a 'baby unit', 'parent unit' & movement sensor mat. The mat is placed under baby's mattress (if like mine, the base of the cot is slatted, or you're using it in such a moses basket, then you will need to place the mat on a firm surface such as a piece of plywood under the mattress), & is so sensitive that it can detect even the lightest of breathing. Fantastic Flat Screen but no sounds.

Advantages: Great screen resolution, looks, styling and performance
Disadvantages: No built in speakers

The depth of colour for a flat screen is fantastic. Its anti glare coating aids those annoying office strip lights dazzling you in their reflection. I also like the way it can auto adjust almost instantly when I add my laptop to the screen. Luscious LCD

Advantages: no flicker, no glare, true colours, takes up very little space
Disadvantages: pixellation is vaguely noticeable (I'm really searching for a problem though)

...I bought an LCD display mainly due to the claims that it gives a true and consistent colour representation. Also, because I spend so much time online, and was starting to suffer eye-strain. The lack of flicker on the screen is indeed a huge advantage - I never get headaches from home use any more. Now all I need to do is persuade my office to switch to LCD! The model is Apple Studio Display 17" with 1280x1024 resolution. It was fairly pricey at £698 (from Computer Warehouse) but well and truly worth it. Being a flat screen, the measurement is true (an ACTUAL 17 inches, diagonally) so you really feel like you have a lot of screen for your cash. And of course there's the massive benefit of its shallow depth. There's an adjustable angled leg at the back of the screen, to make it stand up, but the whole unit will take up no more than 6...
