Excellent monitor

Advantages: great clear picture
Disadvantages: bulky parents unit, interferes with wifi

...This is am excellent baby video monitor with a very clear picture, especially the night picture which works perfectly well even when the baby's room is completely dark. A good feature is that you can turn off the display screen (say when sleeping yourself) but turn it on again just by touching the top. The only drawback is that the parent unit is quite bulky. It is portable though, but not small enough to carry about with you as you do tasks, but easy enough to move from room to room. It's also worth noting that any wireless equipment you use in your home may affect the signal, though the manufacturer does say that you can contact your wireless internet provider for different settings. A fantastic product for the price....

37" Flat Screen LCD

...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. Low-Radiation When I was still using my old CRT monitor, there's a 'magnet-like' feel on my hand when I touched the screen after an hour of use (you can try touching your monitor screen now if you are currently using CRT monitor). However with Samsung SyncMaster 943NW, I get zero 'magnet-like' feel and that makes me personally feel that it is really safe to use this monitor. Crystal-clear images Samsung SyncMaster 943NW provides superior-quality images with its 8000:1 contrast ratio . Bright images appear to be awesomely brighter and dark images appear darker. ...I knew from the outset that i would be one of those paranoid mum's constantly worrying about my baby & wondering if he was still breathing through the night, so I invested in the Angelcare monitor with movement sensor mat. The set includes a 'baby unit', 'parent unit' & movement sensor mat. The mat is placed under baby's mattress (if like mine, the base of the cot is slatted, or you're using it in such a moses basket, then you will need to place the mat on a firm surface such as a piece of plywood under the mattress), & is so sensitive that it can detect even the lightest of breathing. The mat connects to the baby unit which then transmits to the parent unit. At Last A Monitor To "Screen" About

A teeny tiny LCD monitor

Advantages: An excellent way to display your photo's, looks superb and is easy to use

...Those of you who read my review of the Epson Perfection scanner know I?ve been scanning in favourite photos for displaying in a digital photo frame and this is the photo frame in question. Well, we all know these are quite expensive at the moment and some are less than nice to look at but I?ve got this as a combined birthday and fathers day present for my dad so its okay to be expensive because it is a perfect present for him. Monitor Your Baby

...Baby Walkabout Advance from Tomy Living in a flat I felt I did not really need the most high tech and expensive of monitors and just needed one that really did the job. I was looking at all the ones available to buy on Amazon and this one sprang out at me. It was not the cheapest monitor going but it certainly was not the most expensive either. Monitors range from about £15 up to an astonishing £100 plus. The latest ones out on the market offer a television screen where you are actually able to see your baby as well as hear their sounds and monitor room temperature. I feel however the television screen is a little bit much and think I would find myself glued to the screen while all the time away from the baby. This particular baby monitor set me back only £29. I think this is a fair price for what you are getting...
