Advantages: Great Features, Looks, Functions

...The most realistic joystick ever created has arrived. The X45 gives you the feel and look of actually being in an F-22/F-16/F-18 or even a Euro Fighter. The sidewinder franchise is really amazing with its latest additions in the Force feedback 1 and 2 but it still just looks like a toy and well a hot toy. I have both and I can tell you both should receive a rating of 10/10 but ‘id just prefer the X45 simply because of the looks. No joystick control has ever looked so sleek and a throttle slider or wheel is a thing of the past, the X 45 has a separate console for the throttle, a gear like contraption that finally makes HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick) technology possible for the virtual flyer. ...I had a fairly clear and rigid set of requirements from the camera I was seeking to by and I'm happy to say I've more than found what I was after. The requirements were as follows : Compact,good optical zoom,good battery life,the best quality image in a variety of conditions and ease of use. In short a lightweight ,portable camera that allowed me to take "proper" shots rather than snapshots at any time i.e. a camera in my pocket ready to shoot -holidays,social events,concerts,impulse shots,close ups - the whole gamut without having to lug a "full size" camera and accessories around - flexibilty with minimum compromise. .... There is plentiful use of some excellent photography both in the action sequences from the races and of the drivers and sights around the pit-lane. A couple of minor criticisms I have here is that some of the photography is arty to the extent of being useless. A second criticism would be that there is very little technical coverage for example on the aero-dynamics of the sport. There is a tendency for the magazine to be personality dominated rather than the machines. On balance though F1 racing is a thoroughly good read and well worth the £3.40 monthly cost. Advantages: The excitement of a live performance

...I thought I had all of the available recordings of pianist Wilhelm Kempff, and was very pleased to discover this BBC Legends release of a Queen Elizabeth Hall recital dating from 1969. Kempff, in my opinion, was one of the greatest interpreters of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann, and there are also recordings of music by Brahms, Chopin, Liszt and Schumann. His studio recordings are great, but fairly safe interpretations. In concert the readings are much more personal. This BBC Legends disc (BBCL 4045-2) offers some of the finest performances I have heard him give of a selection of music by Bach - Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue in D minor, Beethoven - Sonata No 22 in F major, Op54, and Schubert - Sonata in F minor D625, Three Pieces D946, and two of the first set of Impromptus (2 and 3). ..., distances are also stated for example: "in the next 8th of a mile turn left". This is a useful feature and the navman F20 makes it hard to miss any junction. The graphics are good, with nice large maps and arrows indicating the route directions. Some minor faults are that my Navman doesnt recognise some streets and needs to be updated. The instructions in the provided booklet arent clear on how to go about this. Also when I found the download for an update on the Navman website my pc didnt allow me to do the download, so I need to buy software to do this at an extra cost. The Navman F20 only has two voices to choose from, male and female... so if you find them annoying your stuck with it for the length of your journey. ...was sacked by his Jaguar team after receiving a minor driving offence – Kerb crawling apparently. He has since not been heard of. My prediction: Although obviously not as good as his father Thomas could be a good F1 driver. However, his disappearance is a bit of a surprise. OTHERS WHO COULD BE IN F1 GIL DE FERRAN – The current CHAMP CAR champion has Honda backing DARIO FRACHITTI – His time is passing but a seat at the Jaguar team is still possible ANTONIO PIZZONIA – Young Brazilian could be the next Senna and he has plenty of years ahead of him to do so. ...I have looked up the site and found that many people have already writen a lot about this car, but felt that as I have owned my 1.3L version for over 10 years, I had to get in my "halfpennies" worth. It is one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. It has passed the MOT practically every year without fail and has now clocked up just over 60K miles. The only regret was buying the 1.3 version. It really struggles when overtaking and you have to accelerate hard to get past other motorists safely. Motorway journeys were not very pleasant, although that 5th gear did help a little providing you were already travelling at a reasonable speed. The engine is based on the very tough "A" series used in Morris Minors etc and is very easy to service. The only problem I had was it went through distributor caps at a very alarming rate; misfires... Read review

...As a football coach who also plays competitvely twice a week my choice of football boots is extremely important. When playing on soft ground I use the new Adidas F50+ boots, but when the ground is hard there is no substitute for the Nike Air Zoom Mercurials. With a pricetag of over £100 they are expensive, but will prove tremendous value for money in the long term. I've had my pair for two years now, but you wouldn't know it apart from the studs being slightly worn down. The best feature of the boots is how little they weigh (approx 185g), giving you the feeling of being able to run faster and accelerate away or towards an opponent. The shape of the boots and the soft leather make a great contact surface with the football for accurate passing and shooting. They are also extremely comfortable to wear.
