...Depending on who you are and what sort of music you listen to or what scene you follow, DJ Yoda is either one of two things; some guy you?ve never heard of, with a funny Star Wars moniker or a hip hop (turntable) legend.
I discovered the wonderful world of DJ Yoda back in 2003, shortly after How to Cut and Paste Vol.1 was released. I actually bought Volume 2 first, don?t ask why, I just did. I then bought Volume 1 and every other Album of Yoda?s since.
DJ Yoda is a white, Jewish, British DJ, whose skills on the decks would make GrandMaster Flash blink with admiration and respect. High praise indeed, if you know who these people are. Humour is strikingly pleasant, if a little rude. This disc is certainly not for the younger listeners. Delta Ebonics (which can be heard on Youtube) is actually a hilarious Delta Airlines advert in Afro-American slang. That alone is worth buying the album for (especially at its current prices). DJ Yoda meets the Thunderbirds is as humours as you can imagine as Yoda scratches alongside the theme tune to the Thunderbirds show.

...Dan Greenpeace and DJ Yoda are apparently great friends. The work together running a radio show on Xfm and also make beautiful music together. ?Unthugged? is one such outing, not to be confused with ?unthugged the essential mix? which is also a good album ? but a completely different one.
Those that know DJ Yoda will be familiar with the setup in this album. Its much of the same and just as awesome, cuttin? and pastin?, choppin? and scratin? is the name of the game and its done well. Ugly Duckling are featured one again, kicking off the mixtape with the hilarious ?meat shake? an imaginary tale about a fast food company that sells, yes, you guessed it, ?meat shakes?. This is just a slice of the pie. The rest is just as brilliant. ?Yoda meets the Mr Men? does what it says on the tin as DJ Yoda scratches off with the Mr Men theme tune...
Advantages: A great game whcih can be played by all and has great multiplayer options! Disadvantages: A little pricey at its RRP, not as good as Guitar Hero!

This Christmas my brother had some money which he had received in gifts from various people and he decided to buy himself DJ Hero for his Xbox console, I must admit I didn?t think it was going to anything special, been a big Guitar Hero fan, I didn?t think the DJ Hero game could live up to it. Especially when I saw the ?set list? of songs which comprised of selections of two songs mixed together (for example a Jay Z song with Jackson 5?s I want you back, or The Black Eyed Peas Boom Boom Pow with a dance song). I am a rock music fan more than dance music so I wasn?t all that impressed and deemed the game chavvy. That was until I played it.

Advantages: Evocative read of Blethyn's formative years Disadvantages: Loses it's way a bit once our heroine becomes an adult
...I have always liked the actress Brenda Blethyn - ever since I first remember seeing her in "Chance in a Million" a sitcom she starred in with Simon Callow on Channel 4 in the 80s. There was something incredibly endearing about her in that show, and that charm seems to be an integral part of her persona, to my mind anyway - even when she is portraying less than sympathetic characters.
Browsing the books in Tesco one day I came across "Mixed Fancies", Blethyn's memoir, and I immediately decided I wanted to read more about the girl born Brenda Bottle in Ramsgate.
Blethyn was the youngest of nine children, and her Catholic parents seem to have had a loving and enduring marriage, despite some of the poverty they had to cope with. Blethyn describes her family history well - for instance her parents didn't actually marry until 1944, despite...

It is very colourful and bright. It has a removable tray which comes with detachable straps so that you can attach it to a pram or buggy.
The seat cover is also removable so that you can take it off and hand wash it.
The dj tray has 6 activities on it that is suppose to represent a keyboard, drum, songbook, dj spinning deck and 2 other random things, one being a mushroom shaped thing that you can press and a handle shaped thing with two beads that go from side to side, the keyboard has five keys which all have animal faces on them.
It has three play settings - FREE PLAY, in which the child can make they're own music - MUSIC, self explanatory really, when the child hits the toy it plays different tunes - ANIMALS, this setting makes animal noises when...

In the past few mobile phone manufactures have managed to dislodge the Sony Ericsson's Walkman range from the top of the pile where music phones are concerned, the only model to come close is the almighty iPhone? Nokia tried and failed with their 5310 XpressMusic handset, as did LG and until recently Samsung didn't quite make it with both the Jet and F400.
However, Samsung have not given up on the music phone market - as the release of their latest handset demonstrates, the new Samsung M7600, aptly named the BeatDJ. The BeatDJ takes the genre of the music phone to an entirely new level; it is the first to incorporate a virtual turntable, but is this enough to steal the title of the 'Ultimate Music Phone,' or is this just another gimmick?

Will's humour is presented during this as he is a able to talk through his emotions as he decides to challenge 'Iron' Mike Tyson to a bout, which he inevitably loses in the first round from a K.O.. This isn't just a bout The Fresh rince though, because the best Jazzy Jeff's talent is also presented and he shows how he can alter his style to make music suitable for a boxing match, but als mixing in a few classic Hip hop samples including Slick Rick's "Hit It".

...So then, Tiesto live in Amsterdam.. widely recognised as one of the best, if not THE best trance DJ in the world (although I'm sure Paul van Dyk, Oakenfold, Armin et al will have plenty to say about that!).. this is where it all began for me.. this CD. Four years ago, when I was just starting to get an interest in the dance music scene, I stumbled across this album. I'd heard of Tiesto, but as a relative 'newbie' to trance I was unsure of what to expect. I'd been happy listening to my Ministry Of Sound annuals, sticking to the more commercial side of dance.. but little did I know this purchase would pretty much change the way I listened to music, that there would be no going back to the cheesyness of DJ Sammy, Lasgo etc.
