...After years of being a satisfied owner of a humble & by now rather long-in-the-tooth BVL MQ-3200 DJ mixer - one of whose faders has just "karked-it" (possibly as a delayed result of "sharing" an involuntary beer - spilt some years ago!!) I decided to move up in the world and join the apparently happy throng of Pioneer DJM-600 users with this second-hand but "mint" example. This I hasten to add was in no small part influenced by another DJ friend's satisfied experience & enthusiasm as a DJM-500 owner - although he had outlayed considerably more sheckles (approx double) than I for his purchase some years previously. Perhaps this may be an indication of its resale value. ...What a piece of equipment if you want to be a DJ then use what the pros use. I've owned my DJM600 for 3 years now and it is the greatest piece of DJ kit I have ever owned. Just knowing that whatever club I go to spin in I can almost guarantee that they will have one of these in between some amazing decks. The build quality of this mixer is second to none it's built very sturdy and all four of the channel slider controls and knobs move freely without any ruff / sticky spots and the LED levels are very accurate which is good for making sure your channel levels are correct when bringing in a new track. Each channel has a 3 band EQ making sound adjustments that much more precise. Each channel also has two inputs which are selected by a switch at the top of the channel. ...is effortless. It is just odd why they decided on this location in the first place. Apart from this, you only get three channels on the Xone:32 - which is one less than the Pioneer DJM-500 and DJM-600. But if you only mix with two decks and an effects unit, or three decks, this arrangement works out great. All in all, I would highly recommend this mixer above the Pioneer series, and also the Ecler Nuo series. I love its sound and build, and once you get used to the gains being on the back, you will not regret buying this product. I am currently saving for the Xone:62 by Allen & Heath, which is its bigger brother (instead of three channels it has six (four line, two mic). Both mixers are built the same, sound the same, and have the same VCF filter installed, so I am upgrading purely to gain more channels to be used by another CD deck and an external... Read review

...This in an overview of my experiences with the Xone:62. It is not an in-depth look at the units specifications because this is readily available from the Allen & Heath website. This review is a comparison between the Xone:62 and other sub-£800 mixers. Background I have never owned a Xone:62, but have had extensive use of one through four years of djing at club nights. I currently own the Xone:32 which is its little brother if you like - instead of having six channels it only has three. Apart from this characteristic, they are pretty much identical. I am currently saving for a Xone:62 because of the fact that it has three extra channels. ...Having used as friends CDJ200 and enjoyed it very much, I purchased one of my own. The unit looks very good and feels solid in construction. The best features are the looping facility and the ability to cut loops, cutting loops on the CD deck is a feature that the CDJ1000 DOESNT HAVE. The Effects (Jet, Zip and Wah) are good and produce the same result as the Pioneer efx 500 and DJM effects modules. The pitch adjustment is smooth and you can choose between +/-6,10,12% pitch, the pitch can be bent easily by the jog wheel, this takes a while to get used to as it is different to a standard turntable (1210) and not as dampered as the excellent jog wheel on a CDJ1000, this is acceptable as it is less than half the price. The ability to play MP3 format cd's is great as you can fit about 150 accapellas on one cd, excellent for easy access... Read review

...My flight case DJ setup is currently 2 of these cd players with a pionner djm-500 mixer in the middle (in which i have also reviewed). All linked to together as pionner DJ equipment they work really well. The mixing is very easy to do, the cd player offer a range of features alone such as tempo changing, loop, cueing and play/pause. You also have a jog wheel to cue in your headphones the beat dead-on. And when hitting the play/pause button the track will start very fast from the point in which you have cueed from. The set up is very good DJ equipment and sounds very good with the right amp and speakers. Id reccommend speakers from JBL, and subs from Peavey, as-well as amps from peavey (either 500 watt or 1000watt). ...,I bought this phone about a year ago and when i first got using it I wasn't disappointed. The Samsung d600 is a flip phone that is very easy to use and to understand all of its features. The first thing I thought of when i got this phone was, is this better than the Samsung d500 (my old phone), one thing was for sure that they looked similar but my d600 was shiny black and my d500 was grey, overall I thought the d600 was an improvement on the d500 and so i preferred my d600. The standard features of the d600 include bluetooth which i thought was useful for wireless communication and especially useful in a car but i rarely use it. Another feature is that you can use it for music, to make that more clear it has a mp3 player facility and the sound is clear when listening to music, so it's sound in that department. ...I have not owned a bike for about 30 years (my last machine was a Z900 Kawasaki). I decided last year to take the plunge and get back in the saddle. I read all the road tests available on every sports bike going, and after numerous test rides I bought a 1998 CBR600FW. This machine has been a revelation. It is nothing like the Z900, which was an ill handling and sluggish beast. The CBR600 is absoultely perfect for anyone new to the world of sports bikes, or thinking about buying a performance bike. It can be docile and is easy to ride in town yet on the track (i.e. track days)it can mix it with the best. The riding position is an excellent compromise between commuting and open road blasting.
