...Every year I trawl through insurance web sites getting quotes for car insurance, I have even been known to phone some of them for a quote, (I know, it?s an antiquated idea but I?m an old fashioned guy at heart) but for the last five years I have always came back to the one Insurance company, Direct Line.
I have two cars on the road, a small Mazda 121 and a nice Mitsubishi Carisma GDI sport, one I use for ferrying my wife and kids about and the small one for work and general run about use so I need a comprehensive cover that won?t make me cry when the premium is mentioned.
Direct Line has consistently come up with one of the cheapest quotes for insurance that suits my needs; I won?t say they were the absolute cheapest, just one of the cheapest.

...An excellent camera for Pentax users moving from film to digital. This is a well built camera - perhaps a little lighter than one would expect if used to a Pentax MX, say, but comfortable and easy to use.
The autofocus is fast and reliable and the viewfinder indications are easy to understand.
One advantage for those with older Pentax gear is that many of the lenses produced for the more recent 35mm range also fit, and are fully functional, with this camera. (I picked up a complete 35mm kit from eBay for £60 which included a 70-300mm lens that works perfectly with the *ist DL).

Review of Pentax *ist DL
Advantages: Reliable, powerful, robust Disadvantages: Im yet to find one. Maybe the hidden costs in addtional items.
...While we have tinkered with vitualisation in the office, we now have a definitive path forward and needed a robust,reliable new server that had maximised uptime and ease of remote management.

LOOKS/SIZE.
The DL380 is really designed to slot into a server cabinet or rack and therefore comes in the standard 2U height configuration. It takes up minimal space in the rack while maximising the the performance.
Weight is extremely heavy. It takes 2 of you to pick it up and even install the rail mounting kit (sold separately) that you use to slide it into the rack. What I do like about the mounts on this server is it gives you the option to add 2 extra bolts...

...I have worked with servers for 6 years now and have never found any manufacturer of servers the comes close to the HP/Compaq Proliant range. What sets Proliants apart from the rest of the field is the managability tools that HP provide.

Review of HP ProLiant DL740
Advantages: Cheap car to buy these days Book price less than £1500 Disadvantages: may need new carbouretta or other improvements to make it run
...About four years ago I bought a Volvo 345 DL a 1.7 Litre hatchback, It needed new suspension bushes anew clutch and a new Carbouretta to get it running right but once it was running I could bet 36 mpg out of it (6 or 7 Miles per litre) thats pretty good or a 13 year old car. The style of car i bought was the plastic seat and no frills type and so I cannot comment on these but with a conventional heater system I was perfectly alright.
Driving the car was great once I did the carbouretta replacement with the above mpg it would overtake great and for a small style of car it was not to small car(and I'm a six footer) but driving it in small areas was great. The interior was as mentioned not special but it was big enough to do a lot I moved a large house contents into a small bungalow in a short number of trips and did a grass cutting job...

...Most people familiar with computers know that Verbatim are pretty much it when it comes to manufacture and distribution. I use their discs in particular for backing up and moving around my music collection, which is fairly big. I usually use the standard 4.7Gb discs for this and will probably continue to be so for reasons you will find out. At first glance the 8.6Gb DL (meaning Dual Layer) discs have one big advantage: You guessed it, the size. So here's the main considerations and issues to think about before buying them.

The best price on Amazon.co.uk at the time of writing is £7.99 for a pack of 10 on a spindle. Considering you can get 50 regular 4.7Gb DVDs for a similar price it seems a little pointless to invest in them at the moment. Advantages: Small and Cheap Disadvantages: Cabling can be a bit of a nightmare
...I first used the Generation 1 DL360 around 4 years ago, they were somewhat revolutionary as they came in a 1U package, meaning that 42 could be squeezed into a rack. For some reason I think because they are thin but wide and long they got named pizza boxes. This review is on the G3 model of the 360 there is now a G4 model available but I have not seen any of these as yet.
