A great budget DLP Projector

Advantages: Low price, vivid colour, ease of use and setup
Disadvantages: Resolution could be a bit higher, slight screen-door effect

...I bought this projector for my home cinema system and i have been very impressed with it. For the money, i don't think there is a better projector packed with features and superb ease of use. The picture quality is more than satisfactory for watching DVD's and playing PlayStation games, and i also use it for viewing photos from my PC. More die-hard home cinema enthusiasts may find the resolution not up to scratch, and it does suffer slightly from the screen door effect, but i find the picture excellent. Another obvious benefit is the massive lamp life of 4000 hours, which means it'll be a very long time before it needs changing. I have also found that this projector has one of the cheapest replacement lamp prices around, from just £140. The brightness is brilliant and this projector is so easy to set up and use that anybody could use...

...Having had a previous projector from Acer I was blown away with the quality of this one. It can be set up in minutes and focused in seconds. It has inferred sensors on the front and back, so where ever you put it you can still use the remote! The projector also has built in speakers and an audio connection on the back. The projector is 'plug and play', it took me about five minutes to set up and have a clear projection. Plug in the cables, press the Sync button, the projector will scroll through all its connections and stop when it finds something to project, truly amazing. Decent multi-purpose semi portable projector

...I've been using LCD and DLP projectors for personal and professional use for the past 10 years, and have finally bought my own personal projector of my use at home. Fan-bloody-tastic projector for the money! It is bright enough for normal windows/desktop application use during the day in day light on a standard matt wall with all the blinds open. But it becomes a seriously good projector for films, games, and web browsing in the evening. I've currently got it ceiling mounted and connected up to my home media server, a laptop, PS3 and a Wii and I still have ports to spare. The detail at 720p is brilliant, the contrast ratio isn't perfect as expected but as a bright multi-purpose projector for non-portable use, it comes highly recommended. The projector itself folds up in to a compact carry case. The front cover folds over with a handle and locks so it can be carried like a mini briefcase.
