Advantages: Great for the kids.
Disadvantages: a bit boring after a while

...I have dogz 4 on my PC,I bought it because it was on offer as I think its mainly for kids.Lots of cute little dogz to choose from and lots to do with them.You can dress them in different fancy dress costumes and change the background scene to different parts of the world and they can meet other dogz on their travels. They like to be stroked and brushed,sometimes fight,and have lots of toys to play with.Really good for kids,teaches them how to look after a pet,feeding and playing etc.Adults...good for a quick glance but nothing more than that as gets a bit boring after a while. You can take pictures of your dogz and download other stuff of the net....

Kidz luv Dogz

Advantages: Cute playable game with a good longevity factor
Disadvantages: The 'snapshot' images can clutter your drive

...I bought Dogz at the request of my nine year old daughter - a rebellion against the mountain of racing, fighting and action games bought for my son no doubt! Although I found the imagery cute as almost any one would I had my doubts that the game would have any longevity. The young mind, however, is always inquisitive and remains fascinated by the detail of this game. Not only do they get to dress up the puppies, they can teach them tricks and play with their toys. The children also revel in the fact that their dogz have grown up and had puppies of their own. All in all it has been and still is a game of remarkable value. One word of warning to the person in charge of the computer. The game allows the children to to take 'pictures' of their dogz. At the last count I had well over 500 images that I did not particularly want...

...Ive had this now for well over a year, now don’t laugh, but im not a little kid! (im 17!)….I was only about 15 though when I was given the game! (see its not too bad because I didn’t pay anything for it – so there we go!) I must confess though this game is quite addictive! Its really clever – and it is very high tech in comparison to other “Dogz” packages. In the past I've had Dogz 1 and 2, I never had 3, but 4 is just wonderful in comparison to 1 and 2! Breed your own dog!

Advantages: Very sophisticated
Disadvantages: You'll fight for time on the computer!

...into your dogz world and they can either fight or become friends! You can adopt as many as you like (my daughter has adopted one for every person that she knows and has selected one with a similar personality ie. bad-tempered, sweet etc). You can get 10 different breeds of dog such as Sheepdog, Dalmation, bulldog, Poodle etc. Oh yes, and One pig!! My 10 year old daughter is obsessed with this and is, infact, moaning at me writing this now as her dogz have reached adulthood and she wants me to get off the computer so that she can breed them! Advantages: Better 3d graphic than other petz series
