Dolce and Gabbana now turn Light Blue

Advantages: orange like smell, refreshing
Disadvantages: none for me but not to everyone's taste

...Dolce and Gabbana light blue is a mixture of citrus and apple aroma which creates the most refreshing perfume that i personally have ever used. Previous to smelling this perfume as a tester in Boots one saturday i was never a perfume wearing girl, as i dont like overpowering scents that you can smell for miles when you walk past someone or vice versa. For me this scent was different it was refreshing and a pleasant citrusy? smell that did not get overpowering when sprayed onto your neck or wrist. It comes as a eau de toilette and even though it is not an eau de parfum i think its pleasant smell lasts just as long and makes you and your clothes smell gorgeous. The perfume itself comes in a light blue velvety box and inside the bottle is a frosted glass rectangular shape with a light blue...

...D&G If you suffer really badly from allergies like myself it can often become really frustrating to find perfume and other beauty products that you can actually go near without sneezing, coughing, wheezing and those dreadful runny eyes. As a result you end up buying the same safe products over and over again! I think i had actually been wearing the same perfume for nearly ten years and had decided that enough was enough. After popping several anti-histamines I decided to venture down to my local department store on a mission that I was going to find myself some new perfume. After a good hour or so I ended up with the exceptionally helpful and somewhat patient girls at the Dolce & Gabbana counter where I came upon their "Light Blue" eau de toilette. Cheaper Dolce and Gabbana Feminine 100ml

...I've been using Dolce and Gabbana Feminine for a few years now as I love its gentle, floral fragrance. It lasts for ages once sprayed on and I have always received many compliments as to 'what smells so nice!' by my friends and also some strangers! It has the scents of lily, vanilla, mimosa and sandalwood, amongst others. A very romantic smelling perfume. It comes in a round, chunky, see-through bottle which has a silver lid and is a nice shape to fit in any handbag. From buying it at a large department store and paying over £30.00 for a 100ml bottle, I decided to visit a few perfume websites to see if I could find it at a cheaper price. I visited a few different sites before coming across two different ones offering the fragrance for £19.99 for a 100ml bottle. Both of these sites have perfumes which they sell as 'tester bottles...

Ooh, Dolce and Gabbana! How upmarket!

Advantages: Gorgeous summery smell, box feels lovely, nice bottle

...Last Christmas (2004), me and my best friend Eva were stuck on what to buy each other for our Crimbo pressies. I find it's always people I'm closest to it's harder to buy presents for! So one dark, December afternoon after a hard (ahem) slog at school, we sat in her bedroom, flicking through all catalogues available to us. We flicked and flicked all afternoon, pointing out interesting gifts for other people, but until we found her mums boots catalogue we were quite hopeless. Then we happened across the perfume section - hurrah! We checked out bottles and "oohed" at prices, but we EVENTUALLY settled on what to get each other. Eva was wanting Ralph Lauren Cool (which I may convince her to write a review for sometime) and I had spotted Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue. So on December 23rd, I received a small bottle of perfume! Dolce, Dolce, Dolce !

Advantages: Smells lush, classy and lasts all night long!
Disadvantages: I use it all the time now, Im totally hooked!!!!

...Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, is truly my all time favourite perfume. After investing in some from smelling it on a friend I am truly hooked. The scent is very powerful, one squirt is all you need of this limey, classy fragrance. The scent alone is quite hard to describe, although I would say its more of a young and trendy perfume which I agree is suitable for both day and evening wear. The body lotion is also very lush, and with the application of the body lotion alone you can smell hints of Light Blue all over. My boyfriend also loves this perfume (well he must do as he bought me another bottle last Christmas!) I would also recommend that you just buy the eau de toilette as this is more than enough, although the parfum is stronger and lasts much longer - i think the toilette is strong enough and I find that after applying it in...

...Now as others my have read, I really love my perfumes and have a total huge collection of them. This one, Dolce & Gabbana is definitely one of my all time favourites. I was up visiting Ady's(my other half) parents in Lincolnshire one December and his mum took us to this place called Ingamels market. I was in heaven, living on the Isle of Wight, our idea of a market in half a dozen stools selling jumpers with dogs and horses on!!! But this was a super size, everything you could think of we sell market. I loved it, by my bank balance didn't! There was this dodgy looking bloke selling boxed perfumes out of what appeared to be a suitcase. These were obviously knocked off goods but they were being sold 2 for £10! D&G Light Blue - a breath of fresh summer air!

...I have just received a package in the post this morning and I'm really excited because it's the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume I ordered just 2 days ago after reading a review on Ciao! THE PACKAGING The box is a light blue colour, quite appropriately! It appears to have a suede-like texture and is very plain with silver writing. The outer cellophane is sealed with a round silver sticker with Dolce & Gabanna printed across it in blue writing the same shade as the box. Look reassuringly expensive so far! On opening the cellophane, the suede-feel box is gorgeous and very different. I like it. The bottle inside is lovely.
