Their Customer Service staff were very professional and efficient and kept in touch with me every step of the way. The fitter was absolutely brilliant and transformed my dingy bathroom into a stunning wetroom. Nothing was too much trouble and he had to accommodate my work schedule, which he did without any complaints. His attention to detail was first class. I know its fashionable these days only to comment on negative experiences but I merely wanted to offset that with some positive feedback. I avoid Dolphin on "porpoise"

Advantages: One-stop shop for a complete bathroom rebuild
Disadvantages: Expensive. Watch out for the extras!

...I must admit at first when my wife wanted a new bathroom I did not think it would cost as much and take as long as it did but when you watch what is happening you can see there is a lot more work than you think there would be. We looked about for different bathrooms from different companies and as we had a bad time with our kitchen when I got one of my mates to do it and although he is still my friend he will not be getting any more work from me we thought we would get the company to do the whole lot this time. We got a cocky sales rep who thought we couldnt afford the bathroom and so couldnt be bothered to do the sale (we had just moved in and everywhere was a bit of a mess). ...KITCHEN CEILING REPLACED AND REPAINTED, ALL THIS THREE DAYS BEFORE XMAS. THIS WASN'T REPAIRED UNTIL MID JANUARY AND THE BATHROOM HAD TO BE STRIPPED AND RE INSTALLED. THEY DO NOT PAY COMPENSATION ONLY GESTURES OF GOODWILL NOR WILL THEY ADMIT LIABILITY AS THE JOB IS CARRIED OUT BY SUBCONTRACTORS WHO SUBCONTRACT OTHERS (eg ELECTRICIANS ,PLASTERERS etc). ON COMPLETING OUR INSTALLATION OUR INITIAL CONTRACTOR STATED THAT THE GOODS USED BY DOLPHIN WERE VERY POOR QUALITY AND PRICED AT THE WER END OF THE MARKET. ...Hi, I have to write a review on Brewin Dolphin as a result of my experience with them. My overall impression of using them for over 10 years (not out of choice, will explain as i go on) is VERY BAD. I did come into some money from a relative, but was not able to recieve the fuds until i was 21. This was approx. 10 years that Brewin Dolphin would be responsible for the growth of the money. You must understand that this period did include September 11th and so did impact on the investments made, however this is the extent to which they made serious errors on my behalf in order to half the amount i was left with, after 10 years of investment. I think a 5 year old child could do a better job by placing the funds in a bank. So, 12 years ago, £80,000 was left. 10 years on, with Brewin Dolphin taking a 'management' fee each year i am left...
