Advantages: interaction with wild dolphins

...Although there are lots of other things to do on Moreton Island (swimming, snorkelling, fishing, badminton and of course the dreaded sand tobogganing) our prime reason for visiting the island was to feed the wild dolphins which visit the jetty each evening. The dolphins are inshore bottlenose dolphins and come to feed on the fish which are attracted by the jetty lights. In the early 90s one of the dolphins 9 a nursing mother) began to take fish thrown to her from the jetty and there are now about a dozen dolphins who come most nights. Feeding is highly supervised by the staff. To keep them wild only about 10% of their daily intake is given to them and human contact limited. Getting into the water to feed them was nevertheless a magical experience, made all the more so by the knowledge that this was not some sort of dolphin show... Read review

Not in my bath but in the school swimming pool. I work with special needs children and at the end of our swimming session we have a play time with a variety of water toys. This dolphin comes in pink or blue. It has big black eyes an open smiling mouth and sports a bow tie. This dolphin looks friendly. This dolphin floats; he also whistles there is a white plastic grid, whistle hole at the base of the dolphin. It is located at Sea Aquarium Curacao (Southern Caribbean), which was great! There are different programs, depending on your age, budget and what you prefer. Pregnant women can only participate in the Dolphin Encounter Program. Before all the activities, you will receive instructions from the trainers. Customers must fill in an assumption of risk waiver before the activity of: Dolphin Swim and Dolphin Snorkel. Advantages: Educational, great place to get away from the bustle of everyday life
Disadvantages: Plenty of opportunity to part with your cash- photos, gifts, fast food

...This was a wonderfully romantic day for my partner and I. My two pieces of advice are 1- set aside a whole day, (although it does close in the evening) and 2- get your entry tickets from Vancouver Tourism as they are discounted. There are lots of both indoor and outdoor areas with hands on exhibits where you can touch sea creatures such as urchins and sea stars (starfish). The beluga whale and dolphin shows were amazing. Yes, these mammals belong in the sea but the dolphins featured had been rescued with severe damage to their fins. I learned a lot from the dolphin displays about their behaviour. We visited in July. The attraction was pretty crowded with children. However, one positive is that you get a hand stamp which enables you to leave the attraction and come back later, if you want a break.... Read review

...even though i dont want this game it does look really good, so i'll review it, your this dolphin called "ecco", he has to save the world(strange mission for a dolphin!), so you must battle through levels filled with ememies,ie, sharks.on your adventures you meet other dolphins which are friendly, you also meet a whale and a huge manta ray who you must help to earn access to new areas, i've been told there are a few glitches in the game but i dont now of any. This game has really good graphics, ecco looks so real. i would recommend this game to any people who liked the ecco games on megadrive, and to anyone who like this kind of adventure game.... ...Firstly I would say if you thinking about going to New Zealand do it, don’t hold back, it is an amazing country that must be on all travellers ‘to do’ list. I could write about New Zealand for days there is so much to see and do and you will take away memories that you will hold with you for the rest of your life. I think that anyone that has been to NZ will back me up on this! Imagine… swimming with one of the rarest dolphins in the world…. Now your dreams can come true… One of the options I would advise when out in NZ is swimming with dolphins! ...Plugged in ecco last night at 8 PM and after about two hours you become the dolphin. The complete “suspension of disbelief” is a digital dream come true. Tim Follin’s incredible music seamlessly brings your creative side of your brain into play like nothing else on any console. You start to think like a dolphin and then feel like a dolphin as the water’s sound effects, particularly during entry and exit blended hypnotically with the 3D visuals to transport you out of your human skin. She has them all over her body and each one is speacial and means something. for example she has a dolphin beacause 1of her daughters is named dolphin. she has 2 daughters dolphin and star. Advantages: Seeing dolphins up close and swimming with them for free
Disadvantages: Touristy!

...Monkey Mia is on the West Coast of Australia situated in Shark Bay, a world heritage listed area, and I might add a very beautiful area of the world!! I got here on the Easyrider backpacker bus on a trip from Perth to Broome (www.easyrider.com.au which cost $615 and took 7 days altogether). However you could get here by local bus from Denham or try www.greyhound.com.au which have buses going all over Australia. This area is famous for its dolphins which is what I did so all I'm going to review. There is a resort here with a few places you can stay overnight but I didn't visit these. Basically dolphins come in ALMOST every morning. With a 99.6% attendance rate (much better than some of the people I went to school with!) you would have to be REALLY unlucky to miss them. They are wild dolphins that come into the shore sometimes up... Read review
