A 4 man tent with no men! (HONEST)!!

Advantages: Just a cool looking, well designed and functional tent.
Disadvantages: None for me.

...With T in the park weekend over and a great time had by all, I thought I would review the tent that was my home for the weekend. The tent in question was a Confidence Mars 4 Man Waterproof Dome Tent and although it is a 4 ?MAN? tent there were only me and my two girlfriends staying in this one (well that?s my story and I am sticking to it)! Now I am no camper so I cannot really give too much comparison between this tent and any other except to say it was worlds apart from the old tents I used to camp in as a kid. This tent has one separate bedroom compartment with zippers which would have been useful if any of us had picked up some guy and needed a bit of privacy (BUT WE DIDNT)!! It also had air vents so whilst being completely waterproof it did not become sweaty and therefore wetter inside than it was out, possibly the best thing...

TENT; 3 poles and you're up! room for 3 little ones? vaude campo

Advantages: Light weight ,extremely quick and easy to put up and take down .
Disadvantages: not sure how to stay warm .but thats not the tents fault!

...Please note I am writing this purely from the point of view of a camping novice so all technical details may not be included . I've had this tent for a couple of years now well more like 4-5 years. At the time of purchase you could get in in Argos for about £160.00 but I managed to get it sent from a German supplier who was selling them on eBay . It cost about £104.00 in all including p+p. The reason I chose this tent was for the following reasons: -I wanted something that could be packed /carried around should need be ,so it needed to be light weight ,it weighs about 4.5 kg -I was due to holiday with a friend, and as they were giving me a lift in their car with all there stuff I didnt want to be taking up a lot of room. -As it was just my son and I who would be staying in the tent there was no need for it to be a huge tent. -I...

A bulky tent..perfect for camping when you have a car

Advantages: Cheap, good value for money, very waterproof and durable
Disadvantages: Heavy, bulky, quite small for two people

...I have this tent and I from ym own opinion I think that it is fantastic! Although when I initially bought it I thought that it would be a faff to put up because it would quite bulky The weight that it states on the packaging is about 4.3 kg which is a reasonable weight for such a cheap tent. I have never had to hike with it, but if you are walking with a small rucksack and the tent the load will not be too heavy, but it can seriously weigh down your rucksack. As well as being quite heavy it is quite bulky for the actual size of the tent (from experiences) I found it an absolute doodle to put up, three poles in the pins and it's up Also the really good thing is, is that you put the fly sheet up first so you can out your kit under it when it is raining. It has a reasonable sized porch which is big enough for my 65l rucksack...

2 person tent

Advantages: Takes 2 people - and their luggage
Disadvantages: Needs 2 people to put it up

...After spending several weekends traipsing around camping shops this turned out to be the tent of choice for a couple who like a bit of space. Ignoring the specifications - this is a 2 person tent. There's enough room for a tall man and for a woman who's brought her entire wardrobe on a camping trip - and let's face it, we all know that happens on most trips. Nearly didn't buy it as the wind was blowing when I viewed it outside the shop and it didn't seem very stable, but as it was marked down to a bargain price I went ahead - and have had no regrets. The tent is very stable when put up and pegged correctly. Not suitable as a 1 person tent as it takes 2 to put it up. Once the poles have been threaded through you'll need one person to stand inside the tent holding the canvas up while the other person runs around the outside...

...The capacity is for roughly 2000 people so you always see people you know in there, and the bonus is that it's big enough to avoid people you don't want to see! The Dome nightclub is located on Horsefair in Birmingham, about 5 minutes walk from New Street Station. It's not in the nicest part of town and you have to either walk under a scary underpass or risk your life crossing a dual carriageway to get there. There aren't really any decent bars nearby to go to first. There's a lot of dodginess that goes on outside the club, with unlicensed mini cabs, boy racers racing up the dual carriageway, and sleazy guys trying to entice drunk girls into their cars. year. Queues can get quite long on a Friday or Saturday night so wrap up warm. Bouncers aren't fussy about girls. Large groups of blokes may have trouble getting in...

Hardest Erection Ive ever Had !!

...My family had a weekend camping in Skegness two weekends back. Luckily enough, the week before I had recieved a free tent from my company so it saved me a few bob. The tent in question was this one. A Vango Alpha 400 4 berth dome tent. I am a very occasional camper, in fact I havn't been for over ten years and I found tents had changed a whole lot in that prevailing time. The tent comes in a lightweight holdall. My Tent with Rooms

Advantages: Breathable fabric keeps cool in the heat and warm when it is cooler
Disadvantages: It is quite weighty and quite expensive

...Coleman Bi-Space 300 This tent is ideal for two people - for three it might be a bit pushed for space! It features a tall living space - which comes with a groundsheet and a lower smaller sleeping area. The tent is fairly easy to put up! we have even done it in the dark, the poles and loops are colour coded so you know where to thread each rod. The rods fit together nicely and have no trouble getting them through or taking them out - remember to push the rod and not pull otherwise the connections with come loose! Once all the rods are in place you can see the shape of the tent - pegging it down is very time consuming, there are lots of peg loops and a skirt which runs right around the tent...this can be folded up in the day to let air in, we tend not to use it because of all the pegs, but its comforting knowing your...

The ups and downs of a family tent.

Advantages: Lots of space for everyone.
Disadvantages: No longer made.

...The Khyam Michigan 12 was only made in 2007 so can be hard to come by now. But if you are after a large, well set out tent, and you find one of these then grab it whilst you can. The tent is an outer pitch first, or all in one. Personally we leave the inners in place which reduces the pitching time. The tent itself is large and can be difficult and heavy to put up. Saying that I am under 5ft and have limited mobility so if me and hubby can put it up between us then I'm sure others could easily. We have reduced the pitching time to around 30 - 45 minutes now, which is not bad considering. One good thing though, is that although the tent is large it still fits on most pitches so no extra charges. The tent has 3 inners. All or some can be removed if wanted. The largest is 6 berth. This is used by our 4 children and is just big enough...

Disadvantages: Quite female focused, not really a bloke book.

For example, the story of Joseph (and his 'technicolour' coat) is famous, but what do you know about his only sister? Nothing? Yeah me too! Until I read this fantastic book. Anita Diamant takes the story of Dinah, mentioned only in passing in the bible, and develops it. The result is largely an imaginative work of fiction, however, it is deeply rooted in information from other sources. For example, Joseph's time in Egypt is included, and other stories about Jacob, such as his difficult relationship with his brother Esau. The Red Tent is therefore deeply plausible as a narrative. There are no details that jar, or suspend...
