David Lloyd Cheadle

Advantages: Good changing rooms, a good amount of aerobic equipment
Disadvantages: Not enough free weights and weight based equipment as a whole.

...I've been a member of David Lloyd Cheadle for nearly seven years now (since 2001) and have always really enjoyed my experience there. O.K. it may be a bit expensive but for me it's (or was) well worth it, and they deserved to charge such an amount. However, since they've done the STUPID refurbishment in Summer 2007 they've made the club much worse! This is because there used to be more types of equipment before and two (sometimes three!) of each of it meaning that you didn't have to wait for so long to use the equipment you wanted (thats if you had to wait at all). Why the refurbishment has resulted in a reduction of the equipment, I don't know? Not only that the new equipment doesn't feel as good and as smooth as the old one as it's very poorly made by the manufacturers technogym (in my opinion). However, it's important to add that...

I drove there and it was really easy to find. It is situated just off the A34 which is really close to Manchester Airport. I just rolled up in my car in the free parking area. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Advantages: Amitabh Bachchan in a double role

That is decreasing more and more with the advent of DVDs and India becoming more and more western and nightclubs popping up in urban areas. When Don first came out in 1978 the film had a huge captive audience. When the remake of Don was released last year in 2006 I wonder if it got even a fraction of the audience that the original did. The biggest difference these days to the Bollywood film industry is that you can watch Bollywood films in cinemas across the UK and other countries where there are people who want to watch them. 30 years ago you rarely had the chance to watch an Indian film down the local Odeon cinema hall! Hotel is situated approx 0.5 miles along this road on the left. The Village at Cheadle is the perfect place to stay if you want to rejuvenate and have a rest.
