Knotts Berry Farm but no Animals

...We discovered Knotts berry farm whilst on holiday in California. We stayed in Anaheim which is home to Disneyland. Knotts berry Farm was only a few miles from there. It is in the Buenos Vistas area. No it's not a farm , it started off as a really small place, where a family used to make apple pies and jams and sell them, it developed into a theme park gradually. I love it here, there are white knuckle rides, loads of fairground stalls where you can win enormous cuddly toys. There are loads of people who win them except me who always wins a little one. Never mind it's all fun. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. Advantages: Amitabh Bachchan in a double role
Disadvantages: Some of the fight scenes drag on a bit

...meet friends such as pubs and clubs so historically they went to the cinema. That is decreasing more and more with the advent of DVDs and India becoming more and more western and nightclubs popping up in urban areas. When Don first came out in 1978 the film had a huge captive audience. When the remake of Don was released last year in 2006 I wonder if it got even a fraction of the audience that the original did. The biggest difference these days to the Bollywood film industry is that you can watch Bollywood films in cinemas across the UK and other countries where there are people who want to watch them. 30 years ago you rarely had the chance to watch an Indian film down the local Odeon cinema hall! THE MUSIC ?Yeh Mera Dil Pyaar Ka Deewana? (meaning my heart is a fool to love) is undoubtedly one of the best songs in this film...

...This has been sitting in my pile of unwatched DVDs for ages and I've just not been inclined to watch. First of all a Christmas themed horror film doesn't sound like a great idea to me, apparently Black Christmas is good but I'm not convinced yet. The cover is unattractive and the whole shebang just looks a bit terrible. Putting it off to Christmas was the excuse I gave myself such is my split personality but Christmas came and went and next Christmas is drawing near so I thought I'd watch this to just get rid of it. Made in 1984 it as mystery/thriller/slasher film directed by Edmund Purdom.
