Laugh out loud funny!

...personal favourite comedian hands down. I do love Joe Pasquale too but, these are two very different styles of comedian altogether! The book is simply called ?Life and laughing, my story? and is aptly named really for a comedian, don?t you think? A picture of Michael smiling and dressed in a suit is the simple but effective front cover. It is how the audience know him as this is how he always performs in a smart suit! The book: I have to admit, I don?t read any celebrity autobiographies but, this one I simply had to because not only was it somebody who brings joy to my world in the amount he makes me laugh during his performances but, I was keen to learn how he had got himself where he is today. Laugh out loud!!

Advantages: Light hearted, Funny

...I've been going through a bit of a rough patch, and there is nothing I find more uplifting than reading. Whilst browsing at a local book shop, I noticed this paperback book, Life and Laughing, for a bargain price of £4.50, and thought it would bring a bit of laughter. I wasn't wrong. I am not a huge Michael McIntyre fan, but I do like reading biographies, and have seen him on stage on a few occasions, all be it on the tv. The book is bursting with his life story so far. Close on 400 pages of it.It is crammed with everything from his humble beginnings. How one early show had only one paying guest and how he had to turn it all around. It covers how he was so much in debt, yet was expected to go on stage and make others laugh. The pressure the guy must have been under was immense. However the character of the man shone through. The Madcap laughs and Cries

Advantages: Unique Lyrics, interestings songs, well worth buying

...it to trying to create a real, close to the edge experience. Jones' production efforts should be limited to preparing scrambled eggs on a roadside greasy spoon. Having listened to the album once again with a lot of concentration, I have concluded that it is not so much an album as a miscellaneous collection of songs. I am also surprised at how well the songs stand up as good melodies, words and even contain one or two commercial candidates. For all it's failings, I'm very glad that the songs are available to listen to. Perhaps the Madcap has the last laugh for if a line stands out more than any other, it is the incredulous and desperate shriek, 'Won't you miss me? Wouldn't you miss me at all?' Yes Syd, we do.
