Fun for baby, less so for the door frame!

Advantages: One entertained baby, doesn't take up too much space when not in use
Disadvantages: Difficult to get baby in and out of, and scraped the paint off the wall

...I got this door bouncer for my baby when he was about 4 months old and could hold his head up well. He was maybe a bit young at this point, but within a few weeks he'd learnt to bounce up and down in it and loved it. For added enjoyment, you can put a mirror in fromt of the baby so that they can watch themselves jumping up an down. Overall, though every baby's different, I've found from talking to other mum's that most babies seem to enjoy this product, and I'd say it's worth having. On the downside, it can be quite difficult to get the baby in and out of the seat. It did also only ever keep my baby occupied for about 20 minutes at a time, (which is actually the maximum time the instructions advise you to leave your baby in for.) My painted door frame has also come off a bit worse for wear with the paint having been scratched...

SONY - THE NAME FOR FRAME ACCLAIM

Advantages: Crisp images, easy to use, looks lovely, large screen
Disadvantages: No USB Cable supplied - so no way of getting photographs onto the frame without buying one

...My Mum, bless her, can?t get her head around viewing photographs on a computer monitor, she is of the generation that like their pictures in albums or in a frame, to be enjoyed at her leisure, preferably in a comfy chair, and without the need for constant mouse clicking. Between the family members with digital cameras we have a fair number of digital photographs, numbering into the thousands in fact, but not having a limitless supply of ink and photo paper printing them off would be immensely costly, as well as time consuming. Clearly something had to be done to open up these many photographs to Mum, which is how I found myself toying with the idea of a digital photo frame for Mothers Day. The brief was to find one that was simple to operate, aesthetically pleasing and with enough storage to hold as many photographs as we could throw...

...Sliding doors is one of my all time favorite films! made by director Peter Howitt he has really made a different kind of film that makes you use your brain. It follows the life of helen (actress Gwyneth Paltrow) Who works in PR and lives with her writer boyfriend, unbeknown to helen her boyfriend gerry (actor John Lynch) Is cheating on her with an ex girlfriend, Helen goes to work as normal but gets sacked due to sexist male employees! Then the story really starts, Helen gets into the lift and makes her way to the tube station, then the screen splits, One helen catches the train, whilst the other helen misses the train ( They are both still the same person the story follows would would and wouldnt have happened if she caught or missed the train) The helen that misses the train has to get a taxi and gets mugged therefore she misses...

Doors and windows for your lego house

...My grandson aged 6 years old is getting very creative with his Lego. For Christmas we bought him LEGO® Doors & Windows 6117. In this box are doors and windows, shutters too. There are 100 pieces Lego says but I have not counted them. There are yellow windows red windows white windows of different sizes there are green shutters. Yellow doors blue doors red doors. There is clear plastic window glass for the frames. The windows and doors are a variety of different shapes and sizes. Now my grandchildren can be really creative and build a house or doctor?s surgery with as many windows and doors in it as they like. They will not be restricted by the number of windows, doors that come in other brick sets. This set of windows and doors is suitable for a child aged 4 and over. I think a 5-6=7 years old will get the best from it...

Review of The Open Door - Evanescence

Who's been framed?

Advantages: Some of the clips are funny.
Disadvantages: Most of the clips are repeats and very out of date.

...You've Been Framed is a 'comedy' show where members of the public send in their home videos which will contain funny moments such as mishaps or tricks being pulled on people. The show has been running for almost 20 years now and this shows in some of the clips that they show which are from the 80's and 90's and therefore everything in them seems very out of date (clothes, hair, toys etc). There have been a number of hosts over the years, the most memorable being Jeremy Beadle (RIP) and Lisa Riley. It is currently shown on Saturdays, late afternoon, on ITV1 and to be honest most of the clips look like ones I have seen before and the show is really not very enjoyable.
