Can't say enough good stuff about Healthbeds Memoryflex mattress!

Advantages: Absolute bliss to lie on
Disadvantages: Don't want to get up in the morning!

...We needed a new mattress. We had a pocket sprung turnable mattress that was a few years old, but I knew it was time for a change because I got up every day with back and shoulder ache. I wanted to try a memory foam mattress, because the springs just didn't seem comfortable for me, and I'd read great things about good quality memory foam. Which? magazine has done a few tests on mattresses, and the Healthbeds Memoryflex has won it more than once. In face I contacted Healthbeds via their website, and they sent me a copy of the Which? report (well, you would wouldn't you?!) and that helped us take the plunge. ...My baby needed the safest mattress I could find - yet non of the mattresses I looked at offered me what I preceived as safe. Some were breathable, have you tried actually breating through them, very different from what I think is breathable. Anti alergy and dust mite repellant, no-one could convince me; hygeinic some were partly washable so some of the mattress would be clean; could I get a mattress with no chemical to make it fire retardant - no; could I use the mattress for my next baby and fell confident it was still OK - no I was told "new baby new mattress" why I asked, I found out the reason was that the mattresses over time build up all sorts of moulds and fungi as well as millions of house dust mites so I was ten expect to spend another £100 plus for my next baby. Advantages: Addictive, a really good read.

It's a Double Bass daddio!

Disadvantages: You'll cry if you have to sell it.

...It's difficult to buy a double bass in the simple way you might buy a good quality electric guitar or electric bass . For a guitar you can sort of decide if you're Fender, Gibson, Gretsch etc type of person by seeing what you're favourite players use on the telly and then trying them out in any good guitar store. But for the double bass we're in different territory all together and different rules apply. If you try out the bass in a store or room that is stuffed with other double basses or even other wooden acoustic instruments its going to resonate a little in each of those instruments and lead you into believing you have a lovely sounding bass when you probably haven't. Cadbury Double Decker

...Yes, it's now time to move onto chocolate bars on my whirlwind tour of junk food that I'm eating this week in an attempt to pass the time! It's certainly one of, if not my absolute favourite chocolate bar out there...introducing Cadbury's Double Decker. To use the quote on the front of the bright purple and orange wrapper, (yes, it certainly stands out!) the bar is made up of "milk chocolate with smooth, chewy nougatine and crisp, crunchy cereal filling." Delicious!
