Making a mountain out of a "moel" - hill.

Advantages: Wonderful welsh landscapes. Easy-watching and witty.
Disadvantages: A little too cutesy in places

...Here in Wales, we are extremely proud of our mountainous landscape. The 1995 film, "The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain" is based on a true story that exemplifies that pride. The title of the film is a synopsis of the plot in itself. The film is set in 1917 in a small welsh village, Ffynnon Garw, which is overlooked by what is fondly referred to by the villagers as "the mountain". The villagers are understandably horrified when two English cartographers employed by Her Majesty's Ordnance Survey Office arrive, saying that their mountain is only hill!! Advantages: it looks good, great features
Disadvantages: poor battery life, not enough memory, crashes, not all features can be used.

...download something to your phone to get it started or what. But why should you have to download something to get a feature which the phone is marked down for having to work?! The Maps and Sat Nav can hardly ever get signals. Theres not as much choice for photo editing as I would of expected with it having the camera it has on it. This is the first phone which I have ever had that crashes, I thought it was my own but my friend purchased the N95 and it does the same with him. I do like aspects of the phone but the bad seems to out weigh the good. I wouldnt call this a review on the phone itself.. it is what it says to the side. Its My experience of it....

...The Hills is my guilty little pleasure. There's backstabbing, friendships, boyfriends, clubbing, making up, breaking up, in fact this programme has everything! The Hills is actually a spin-off television series from the very popular show, Laguna Beach. This show followed a bunch of high school students through their life in Laguna Beach, California, a very affluent, beautiful area right on the coast of Southern California. One of the main characters was Lauren Conrad, often referred to as LC. She, in my opinion is quite a pretty, nice mannered girl, if somewhat spoilt. She has the clothes, looks, long blond hair and drives a very nice convertible car. I do like her and I think she is quite entertaining. Cue all sorts of attempts by the villagers to convince them otherwise and restore the term 'mountain' to their lump in the landscape. So why didn't I like it? That's what we all want to know and I'll get on with it straight away. Two things made me wary before it even started: Hugh Grant, and a story that didn't exactly sound rivetting (or comical). Advantages: Good special effects and lots of gore

...As you might have guessed by the title, this movie is a sequel to the 2006 remake of the Hills Have Eyes. I am a very big fan of the first movie but did not feel that this movie was anywhere near the same standard. I don't whether this is because it was directed by Wes Carven this time, but for some reason it just wasn't anywhere near as good. Without comparing it to the first film though I still think that it is quite a good film, definitely not the best, but still not terrible. Advantages: Amazing views of Prague once you reach the top!
Disadvantages: The staircase made me feel dizzy.

On a clear day it is possible to see the highest peak in the Czech Republic, Snezka, which is 150km from the tower. Petrin Hill Observation Tower To get to this tower you can either climb up Petrin Hill, or take the Funicular Railway. Now I should point out climbing Petrin Hill is so easy task, indeed we walked back down it and it's quite steep in parts, and it was tiring enough walking back down it nevermind up! The Funicular railway is easy to use, linking the Mala Strana district to the top of the hill. It has 3 stops, Ujezd (bottom of the hill), Nebozízek (the middle station) and Petrin (top of the hill). You can board at Ujezd and you need to get off at Petrín to get to the tower. Nearby the tower there is a lovely...

The Hills Have A Remake

Advantages: dark and creep
Disadvantages: too dull to be very scary

...CONTAINS SPOILERS! I've not seen the original so I won't be comparing this to that. Apart from the minor scare and the guy killing the 2 scientists at the start this is really boring for a very VERY long time. The travellers dog gets killed (we see nothing apart from it's body) and then not much happens. We're almost 40 mins into the film where their truck is sabotaged by the hill people (they use a stinger on it) and then lots of not much happens. The dad of the family walks back to the truck stop and the son-in-law finds a vehicle graveyard in a crater (and really should have sussed what was happening by then, it's totally obvious). The truck stop owner kills himself and the dad of the family is caught by the hill people and things actually finally start to happen.
